I think everyone’s over reacting.

I actually put some coin on us at $126 during the week.......money well spent and I’m feeling much better now.

Widdop and Hunt in the halves, Norman to FB, Saab and Lomax to Wings.......souffs will be shitting themselves, especially for Dufty’s 7mins at the end.

Bennett and Cook will wish they stayed after Friday, and then again in the Finals.

Dragons will win and march on.

Also interesting to see how are forwards come out after the tongue lashing they received from mcinness and then followed up by supercoaches plea " if they punt me they could punt you " well it is his team dont forget .. so will they rally round and fight fight fight !!!! or will will perform like a damp firecracker ?? will be an interesting game on all fronts

1.Dufty 2.Pearson 3.Lomax 4. Ravalawa 5. Saab and Norman can ride the year out on the bench as cover for fullback or halves. I still would like to see Pearson outside someone who can create before totally dismissing him. Rava if he does have a weakness it’s under the highball, move him in one and that helps, plus he appears to have a passing game why not give him a go. Saab outside Aitken is a waste and from what I’ve seen he is not a monster coming out of trouble although young, but outside Aitken that’s all he will be doing. Lomax is not super fast and more a creator of tries, he’s wasted on the wing. Normy is not explosive enough at fullback and Dufty had a good game last start.

f**k me.. two steps forward, one step back for McGregor..

Why is Rava on the bench? He’s our top try scorer and getting better each week..

Drop Aitken, move Lomax to centre and bring Rava back.

Dufty either needs to be in the side or not. Bench is no good, we need another forward there..
Looks very similar to the side that lost the first 4 games of the season before Widdop was injured.

Jesus, what about Marys threat " heads will roll , at least a couple " So it was the wingers fault alone Penrith put a score on us ? Leaves Simms & Aitkin in shows how gutless & clueless he is. The board should have sent the team list back and instruct him to wipe his name off but they are still at lunch.
Wingers were a big contributing factor to the deficit no doubt whatsoever. The centres weren’t much better. Dufty was one of the better players and has been dropped. Could have done with a couple more forwards (Kerr and Timm) we got dominated there.

I said exactly this to a workmate when we read the team list.

Also, picking Saab but keeping aitken inside him gives mary a readymade excuse.

Aitken let's in the usual try or 2 and mary can blame the rookie winger!

So transparent.

We can only hope for a late reshuffle with Lomax to centre, Ravalawa back to wing and aitken left right out...

Don't often agree with you Muz but totally agree about Ravalawa and Lomax- I'd love to know what Aitken has on Mary that guarantees his week in week out selection irrespective of performance.

The guy I feel sorry for is Pereira. With his safety and reliablility , he was the nearest thing we had to Nighty there for a while but had some bad moments and hasn't had a look in since- the injury didn't help. I would like to see him trialled in Aitken's right centre position

Interesting choice of words used in Rothfields "report".

Firstly, Rothfield must have such easy assess to our CEO, whilst others fail to even raise a response.
Secondly, the Board is meeting on Tuesday to discuss the premiership campaign, how can McGregor's coaching not be a part of that!
Thirdly, I wonder whether BJ would refer to him as Paul "Mary" McGregor so informally, and not just simply Paul McGregor or simply coach McGregor.
Fourthly, "there's no heat at the moment", again very informal, but adding in 'at the moment' tells me it has been discussed.
Next "Mary's (again very informal) working 12 to 14 hrs a day. How does he know, has he had a discussion with him already!
The last line is the most interesting "No doubt, team performance will be a point of discussion, but not the coach specifically" contradicts the first paragraph as it basically states it will be.

I'm getting the "coach has full support of the board" statement being released soon after Tuesdays meeting.

I think Rothfield has used some poetic license in this report as it sounds too "friendly" to me.

If Mary is working 12-14 hours a day, he clearly has a second and most likely a third job. It's probably not as an Uber driver, maybe Hire a Hubby??

Man I hope they haven’t brought in Saab under cooked! There have been some games where his confidence has looked down. If it’s too early it may be detrimental to his progress. I hope not he looks the goods.
