Well it was a total clusterf**k of an outing and it’s totally unacceptable by usual smuggy standards.

Even Chadster was running amok and he hasn’t played a decent game in 5 years.

You made Dom look like the camel at his peak. Shades of Franze in your backline.

An abomination.

The fall from grace was frightening.

No champagne post match saunas this week. No limo back to Mulgoa Rd.

All bets are are off after that monstrosity.

I love how you are one of several closet fans.

You are like a high school girl with a loser boyfriend - who pretends to hate the Football team captain, but secretly fingers herself dreaming about how she wants him to F her raw.

The player we missed the most last night was Luai. But not because of his kicking, playmaking or even running game. It's his defense.

He was easily the best defensive 5/8 in the league with us, he did so much clean up work it was really incredible. That and he was also very talkative. People often laud Edwards for his ability to organise our defense but Luai was nearly as instrumental on his edge.

In saying that I feel it's a bit harsh to single out Cole here. We had an entire edge that lacked experience in general and had virtually no 1st grade experience together in that configuration. That is more on Ivan than the players.

What I didn't like about that edge is that rather than bounce back from their errors, their heads dropped, and they continued to get worse.

To my friends and family at the game, I chalked that loss down to Vegas hangover, early season slow start, and the loss of our home ground but the Roosters were so underdone those excuses just don't cut it. The only positive about this game is getting a wake up call early on.
Yeah the Raiders, Warriors and Sharks well and truly debunked the “Vegas hangover” theory.

We seem to have one of these games every year. Warriors/Raiders last year, tigers year prior from memory. I just didnt expect us to be that shit against that team. But they were up for it, we phoned it well in.

We cant play like we did in Vegas against a top4 team then all of a sudden be a shit side. No mass changes needed, Just get the heads back in the game and on we go.

Fitzgibbon also revealed most of his players hadn’t trained since the season-opener in Las Vegas due to illness sweeping their camp.

“You can’t say it before the game because it’s an excuse, but we had five players with COVID, five got Influenza A, we couldn’t prepare, we couldn’t train and we didn’t get them in until Monday,” Fitzgibbon said.

“And then we’re the only Vegas team that had to travel post-Vegas so I was a bit wary about the hangover of that ... but I thought we played strong.”

It's funny watching people take my 60 point win joke so seriously and act smug after a loss over it.

Roosters didn't win Panthers lost. Yes there's a difference. That was disgusting.

I wouldn't change anything other than switching Alamoti and McLean since Casey is a centre.

I didn't see the game but my old man said it was the worse he has seen Penrith play in about 6yrs

There’s obviously some very serious issues remaining unaddressed at the club.

Their righteous, virtuous and divine right to smugness has abandoned them.

They are at last, facing their humanity as a football club.

Smug is over.

A lord of darkness, sheer footy evil is upon us.

Run, hide.
