Rest, reset. Looking gassed after all that defence. Poor hands and errors compounding. Need to score first in the second dig. Mbye needs to be on to try to spark some options

You hope against hope.
And reality checks in.
At 6-6 it was game on but went pear shaped.
55% completions .
As someone said.
Panthers attack 3 or 4 in a set of six and we usually wait till the last to do anything.
Only way we score us through individual brilliance.

That 10 mins with Su’a in the bin we had 7% of possession. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

We look like we’ve never met in attack. Besides a couple of complete brain fades in defence, it hasn’t been too bad.

Anyway, 2nd half we have to starve them of possession. Fingers crossed.

Refs absolutely awful no doubt. Inconsistent and one eyed.

BUT

I was looking for a professional performance from our team and it hasn't been there, disappointingly. Very poor ball security and lack of discipline which has been a characteristic of ours for quite awhile.

This game was (and may still be) winnable. Penrith don't look flash hot. At exactly the point we had a chance to grasp the game we capitulated again with some brain snaps and lost ball. If we are looking for something better in 2022 we are yet to witness it. Same old.

Physicality has been good from us at least. Forwards going well.

Well that was disappointing...

One positive i thought Molo's first 20 mins was very good. Some big defence and good carries...

Was worried about him fitness wise, because he has mostly come off the bench, but he handled starting well...

He'll be a good buy for us as the season progresses and his fitness continues to improve.

You the bad news.. there’s no way the Panthers w remain scoreless in the 2nd half.. they’re forwards we’re always the dangers and we are being rolled

Very poor refereeing but some poor defence from the Dragons as well. The sun bin was a ridiculous decision & changed the game, unfortunately the top teams get these calls, the refereeing options are very limited & this one is at the bottom of the pack.

Lacking confidence but still putting in. Penrith are the benchmark no doubt. Get stuck in for 40 minutes and make a game of it.
