Penrith's defence will test our attacking skills. Our defence needs to be better than theirs.

Hopefully as it is our home ground, the refs will give us more of the rub of the green.

Our confidence will be sky high when we beat them - just imagine.

Who to replace Woods is the interesting question here.
As some have alluded to, Penriths line speed is incredible, so a lumbering prop will be targetted endlessly.
Replacements are few and far between, particularly those lumberers or ineligible players.
I really dont think George gets a run this week, a couple more weeks in KOE Cup will serve him well.
Sims, played prop in reggies last weekend and given he is a more agile player, yet still underdone would be my choice to replace Woods. However, as a bench prop only.
So for me, Lawrie and Frankie Molo start, with Kerr and Sims as the replacement props.
No other changes from the 17 from last weekend. We must build our combinations, and swapping and changing wont help that.

Lets just hope Penrith won't or cant play that well again and Souths made them look much better than they really were and we play much better. Then the result will be only a 12 point loss !
Happy to at least make the 8 and improve this year but the Panthers are in a different hemisphere to us ( which is not a criticism )

Penrith had a big win over Cronulla (34-6) in their first trial game then lost to against the Eels (0-36). They bounced back in Round 1 to beat a sort of "lacklustre" Souths outfit quite well but Souths are not travelling all that terrifically at the moment.

Penrith are beatable but as many here have alluded to, their linespeed is masterclass - taught so well by their defensive coach Cameron Ciraldo and then their attacking skills will be hard to contain.

We need to meet their standards equally and with the home ground advantage at Netsrata Jubilee we might have a chance of a surprise win.

Bring them down to our level that's the only way to beat them, they are better at playing like Penrith than the Dragons

Penrith play at a furious pace .. their speed with or without the ball is the comps yard stick. if Tariq or George B are undercooked fitness wise they could well be found out
