Round 2 vs Sharks

I thought Sims could have had a break for the last 20 when we were under fatigue.

He wasn't having his best night by a long way and luc was fresh on the bench.

Makes no sense...
It's like McGregor is like a rabbit in the headlights as far as his bench management goes. From selection to actually using the bench tactically during a game, he is lost.

We won though despite that so it feels good.

Your joking! We play a quality team at their home ground after they led 14-0 and your saying a better team would’ve put us to the sword?? You have no idea ... dragons are the yard stick at this early stage -
Broncos buried
Sharks buried
Next please!!
Give credit to our team who played their worst game they could’ve played and still won.. shows the quality we have that we can still win games playing like a heap of shit!

Sharks made 9 errors, had only 36% of possession, were 3/10 in their completion rate and missed 16 tackles to the Dragons 2 in the second half.
They were putrid. As I said, we were gutsy, but they were awful. I'm proud of the boys and absolutely credit where it's due, but there were some really poor errors from the Sharks that gifted us possession and points.

Massive effort, nothing went our way in 1st half, and 1 man down when it was critical...I can slice and dice and find things to whinge about, but this was solid.
Hunt / Widdop and McInnes are a great spine. Our Forwards were like gladiators out there...Nene is showing the right signs this year.
Go the Dragons!!

Nene was my MOM. I've been defending this kid forever but agreed with others that he has been pretty lazy at times. Only 23 so here's hoping he's maturing and taking it seriously now.

I've been bagging him due to his laziness but tonight his effort was outstanding.

He got my 3 points tonight and honestly thought that would never happen.

Well done big fella...

So Leilua got splinters tonight. What's the point of having a 4 man bench
Boggles the mind why he was even selected. Played two games last week because Mary wanted him to work on his D, which is fair enough. But selecting a likely fatigued player against a team known from their physicality is beyond stupid.

Mary keeps putting us at a disadvantage for no discernible reason.

This is all true mate but you can’t underestimate the effect of the breeze wreaking havoc with the ball. They aren’t all suddenly sh*t handlers of a football. Not the best quality game & no way would the Storm or Cowboys be worried about us but we didn’t drop our heads despite being up against it in the first half.
