Merrin talking about how RCG is a leader and gets everyone fired up in the paper today. He’s not our most talented forward but he is our most important forward easily imo.

Some people just lift those around them, RCG is one of those players.

For sure. There's been a noticeable difference in line speed since Reg has been out.

Interesting. The most important part of that screenshot is the fact he has never played there though imo.

Yeah poor bloke doesn't have a position so he can't be elite at anything. I know Gus said Griffin isn't playing mindgames but I just can't see Peachey getting everything right. He'll stuff up and it won't be his fault.

He does that no matter where you play him to be fair

And Slater always wanted to field in the slips.

Broken play is Peachey's thing. Not sure if he can catch a bomb, position himself in defense or god forbid play fullback in the attacking 20.

I think he will be a 'floater' this week. I hate that word.

It is the positioning in defence that concerns me the most. Luai got caught out twice last week and he had played FB before.

DCE has a good kicking game and Peachey will be targeted for sure.

You want Peachey following the ball. so FB makes sense....Whether he can play there is another thing

After thinking on it a bit more, I'm with those who think Peachey won't line up at FB. If he was it'd make more sense to name him at centre, with Whare on the wing and DWZ at FB, giving Barrett much less time to prepare for a guy who will be exploitable in the position if we're lucky. I think 1) DWZ, 4) Peachey, 5) Whare is more likely.

But if we do line up as named, I really really hope he has a blinder. Obviously I want us to win, but also for Peachey himself. He's to some degree sacrificed his own career to cover whatever position we've been short in and as such is seen only as a 14. With Flash in his twilight, the Titans don't really have a long term fullback (as far as I'm aware) which would give Peachey a decent shot at cementing a position.

Don't think it'll happen for a variety of reasons, but it would be nice if it did.
