I'm glad we won but that was in no way a better performance than last week. I'm glad we still have the ability to turn it on but we were much worse than a bottom 4 team. Lucky to get away with that last try too.

Peachey and Blake were very good. Not too many others worth praising. Kikau did some good stuff but had some awful defensive efforts. Clearly looked hot for those big 10 minutes but made some atrocious last tackle options and did nothing to suggest he's worth the mammoth money his dad is trying to get him.

Maloney looks absolutely broken mentally and physically. Shadow of the player he was just months ago and he can't be 100% fit. DWZ looked like he could use some more recovery time too.

One take away was that Peach was great as FB. Blake was also looking good.

Our problem is in the forwards. We are really missing RCG. I also think we look better with JFH at 13 and Yeo in the second row.

I know, really lucky. Nobody else who is such a talentless idiot would make the semi's 3 years in a row, have their 5th fullback in one season and still win unless they were lucky. Lucky Hook. He must chuckle when he sees his youngest roster in the NRL, winning with 8 first graders missing, watch his fourth fallback stretchered off and think "how lucky am I".
