Cleary wasn't quiet Moylan like. But he clearly has a skillset he isn't allowed to use and doesn't use until a game is over. He shows it when games look to be done and dusted.

We need to be allowed go play what we see from kick off.

This is now my opinion as well

Having Mansour back is making a huge difference too. Imagine we had Chricton in his place that game...

Peach really is an incredible player. Are there any other players in the game who can play back row, centre and FB and do a 1st grade quality job in all of them (and even hooker - although perhaps not 1st grade standard in that position).

Wasn't pretty but we will take it. The boys pulled it out of the fire without Golden Boy Moylan. ...see guys, life goes on without him.

We wouldnt have needed a comeback if he was there. Honestly It's just good to get the 2 points and that better kick start our finals run.

The way we are playing I would say burnt.
Well I'm glad that after i posted that they seemed to fire up the bbq. We are going to get slaughtered in the semis if they keep turning up with this poor attitude in the first half. More steak anyone :p

Manly dominated nearly every stat. Metres, fewer tackles missed, line breaks, possession, average set distance. The only thing we were better at were offloads and fewer errors.

Strangely, they chose to only use two players from their bench. All of our bench had reasonable minutes with May the lowest at 24 minutes. I think that had an impact at the end because Manly looked gassed.

Perhaps we are not giving our team the credit for being on the wrong side of the stats, hanging in there and doing what was required when it mattered. All with a stack load of first grade players missing and two HIA's in the game.

How good is it to have two wingers that can move a bit quicker and actually catch the ball? Both Mansour and DWZ will be better for the run. DWZ looked quite rusty (still better than Crichton or Phillips though).

I think Maloney needs a week off. He just looks exhausted. The only issue will be our kicking. Cleary is a terrible tactical kicker and sometimes you need to roll the ball in the corner or play a cross field kick. I think Cleary can do them, he just doesn't seem to know when to do it and defaults to a bomb. But giving Maloney a rest will be better for us in the long run. May can play in his place.

I tend to agree. He looks pretty busted. If other players can carry some extra load that could help too.

Today for the most part was ugly ugly. But in terms of their confidence it will do them the world of good.

Agree about Maloney. We are the same age so I understand the body isn't like when you're in your early 20s.

We dominated the stats against Sharks and Horse but lost which is weird.

Was this a plan or something? Maybe Griffin said they had to win in the last 10 as a training run for our attack lol.
Good thing is 2nd placed Mounties got hammered. We are now 5 points clear of 2nd place on the ladder with 4 rounds remaining.

EDIT: That first half from both sides was very embarrassing. Like a training run in some parts. And it looked like some were just turning up for the paypacket. If they are all honest with each other, that is exactly what they should bring up.

We got the win. DWZ doesn't bomb that try we probably win comfortably. It is a confidence builder that is something I guess
