Loved the response from the Tits coach Henry when he quipped that "we were lucky in this game".

We were lucky alright, getting a player tripped and not receiving the penalty, then as a result having a try scored against us.

Then not having our captain and playmaker Moylan for the last 20 minutes.Strange thing is that I wouldn't have expected a response like this from their coach.Seemed to come across as a more reserved type of person.

And the fact that we scored a try off an intercept and their error when Waqa ran 50... thats not as much luck as your own team's inability to control the ball and our ability to take advantage

I certainly do not think we should change Moylan and Cleary in the halves but it is certainly interesting how Cleary immediately steps up and forces drop out after drop out after Moylan goes off. Probably just needs the confidence to take more control and overrule Moylan. Cleary close second best today behind RCG.

Cleary is an actual half makes a huge difference. We are seeing with Moylan what was always going to. He has no time compared to at fb and has had limited training as a 6. Mid season switch was always going to be tough

Moylan and Cleary as halves or fullback doesnt change anything... Moylan was always our primary playmaker.

Theres no doubt this is our best 1/6/7. Hooker is debateable. But Edwards at fullback can do things Moylan never could. While still having soft enough hands to get his blokes outside hin involved.

No position has weakened with this 1/6/7. Moylan has played injured... possibly a stupid decision but he did get an important trye aswell.

Plenty has changed. Moylan's time and space to work in for starters. Edwards was signed as a half so should be doing more inside the 20. That Blake try was great. The Cleary try last week too especially with Bryce coming back need him running onto an offload

Thing with Cleary is that the coaching staff have to make a firm move in making him the prime playmaker of this club.

How though? In the pressure of the game he has scoreboard pressure and the club captain outside him calling for the ball. He is only 19 afterall it is up to guys to be in his ear during the game to stick to the game plan

Our win rate with Moylan at fullback was 3 from 9. Excluding the game where he played both positions.

Our win rate with him at half is 4 from 6.. again excluding the game where he played both. Which was also a win.

4 try assists and 2 tries in 9 games at fullback.
4 try assists and 4 tries in 6 games at half.
3 linebreaks at fullback.
4 linebreaks at half.

He has better stats and the team has a better win rate since he moved... how exactly have he or the team lost anything since he moved? He is more dangerous than he was at fullback, but more importantly fullback is now stronger also.

Dylan Edwards is averaging 183.1m per game and he still has that skill in him to get the ball to others after drawing in defence.

Sure this is a work in progress still. But even while the combinations are gelling we havent lost anything from before we made the change. But we have gained a bit. It shouldnt have happened when it did. It should have happened a year ago. We only stand to lose preogress if we change back.

Thankfully Edwards is too good to drop.

Look at who we played though. We are still struggling to put on points so we are no better or worse this year. In future years we should be far better

The first half against the Titan's was pretty much as bad as it get's. We were awful.

The second half while better was far from where we should be.

We got the two points but I can't say I enjoyed the game at all.

It was at best average, the first half that is,although it was a novel move in bring RCG from the bench.I'm really concerned that the only gameplan we seem to have is to unsettle the opposition is by continually giving away penalties.

And the ball security...I know at times it is nigh Impossible to go through a game with having one or two dropped balls, but to constantly dropping them from one game to another is frustrating.

But a work in progress is what it is.

We beat 3 teams with him at fullback and they were all shit teams. We have beaten 4 teams with him at 5/8th and they were all better than the Tigers and Knights.

Fullback - Dragons, Tigers, Roosters, Knights, Storm, Sharks, Eels, Broncos, Warriors
Half - Bulldogs, Raiders, Cowboys, Souths, Sea Eagles and Titans.

We also beat the Knights a second time, but that was the game where he transitioned into the halves.

Honestly not only have we won more games with him at 6, the teams we beat are better then the teams we beat at the start of the season. Although to be fair, having Dylan Edwards at fullback is a big part of that also.

Edwards is a beast.
183.1m per game (3rd behind Jason Taumololo and Tommy Turbo)
7.1 tackle breaks (3rd behind James Tedesco and Jordan Rapana)

Those metres mixed in with Mansour and DWZ are the only reason we can get through games with only one or two of our forwards making 100+ metres.

I have no doubt the lost ball that led to the Blake try was not played at, a similar situation to the one that cost us a try against the Broncos. Normally the bunker would inform the refs that an offside appeared to have occurred, that didn't happen. Henry only thought Moylan may have been offside because he had a bung hammy. We've had plenty of those go against us as well, most notably by Luke Lewis.

And yes, I didn't see him complaining about scoring off a penalty given to the wrong side when Mansour was tripped.

The point that should be taken from this is that refs make errors and they are not out to get your side in particular. There is nothing more f**king boring than the usual suspects coming in here after a game with a laundry list of incidents that went against us, as if we never get anything in return. It's bullshit whiny crap, and EVERY CLUB has "fans" like that.
