Clune is an effective legs tackler but has his work cut out with the bigger blokes front on.
Clune, Host and Ford all looked like world-beaters in CC but have stalled since they got into Firsts because they get no support/development from Mary or Young. Hook won't be so clueless in this respect. Ivan Cleary is reaping the reward of the work that Griffin and Ciraldo put in a couple of years prior.
