He's listed as returning in round 20.

I speak of Cameron King.

Nearly forgotten since he's been injured. I think he is a must when he returns from injury. The ace up our sleeve if you like. I think he can and have the same kind of impact as Fien did when he returned from injury last year.

It's an area we are probably lacking at the moment. I bit of dynamic play around the ruck. Fien doing a top job, but i think King is our trump card.

Personally i feel our best team has Fien starting hooker with Young in the back row. When King is back, and fit, i think he could be the man to inject some life and spark. This would then give us a very very strong bench. With all hands on deck its a hard side to pick, prior or green misses out in my team. Prob green but that would leave us short a prop on the bench. And wayne loves Green so its a tough call.

I know Stanley has been used as a utility player before, but i still think King is more of a specialist around the ruck. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Weyman
Fien
Hunt
Scott
Young
Creagh

Bench: Merrin, Cuthbertson, Prior/Green, King.

He'll be there somehwere once his fitness is right.

Bennett rates him highly as shown in the World Club Challenge.

He has been quality for years coming through the ranks, and you could be right about him being a bit of an x-factor.

He is a great player but at 1 career game he is no x-factor, the boys are tired and in need of a rest we will be better in a few weeks no need to hit the panic button just yet.

It's not panic button at all. I genuinely believe he should be in our 17. He adds something the current players cant. As I said, he can add what fien have us last year.

We'll see what happens.

Fien X factor got us through last year and he will still be that come finals time.

Wayne makes one subtle change sometimes and good things happen.

Last year was putting Neville in the front row. Before that he put Hodges at fullback and moved hunt to the wing.

King will be good, but don't think this is the small change that he will go for.

Kyle look a special for the bench spot at full strength.

although i see king as a future first grade star, i doubt after being out injured most of the season and having only been part of the first grade squad for 5 minutes, he would somehow be the X factor in the finals...
we have Fien and Rein as the two backup dummy halves plus Stanley also plays that role coming off the bench.
let king use the rest of this season to simply get some footy under his belt - next season will be his season.

I cant see wayne bennet making drastic changes to the team 5-6 weeks out of the finals. I think king will only get a chance if he proves his fitness AND strength without doubt, AND if he impresses above and beyond playing in the lesser grade. Otherwise, I think rein and/or stanley have got the nod ahead of king.

An X factor with hardly any FG experience? An outstanding prospect but still a rookie. Basically we don't need an X factor this year. Last year we were worried our attack would flounder come semi-final time as it did in 09. Fien's speed from DH changed that. This year all we need is our present line-up. And our best is yet to come. Fully fit; we'll give 2011 an almighty shake.

An X factor because he's a gun player and is something i feel we are missing. Dean Young should be anywhere near dummy half. He should be lock and just tackle. I feel we need a good dummy half to share the role with Fien.

King will be our hooker next year. Why not get him going this year.

But agreed we do have other options... stanley for one.
