Man that game is even better in replay!! Really feel for Doueihi, was really playing with confidence. Foxtel social media yammering on about Sam and possible match review committee charge. Was a stupid shoulder charge with game in hand and a minute to play, but doesn’t deserve more than the penalty surely. What a defensive effort in the second half!! Just 2014 like.
Geez I hope he's not out a couple of weeks for that

I'm trying to stay a bit grounded but yeah there are so many things to work on from that first half...

I don't think that was actually a complete performance yet.. let's build for that for the finals...

GI has lost 9-10kg and he will be fit and firing on all cylinders on that left edge...

Looks like Hunt may stay on the wing til Jennings comes back...

Kennar will be there in the background in case as well.....
Yeah. Just getting ready to watch the Bears on Ch9, see how Kennar and Hiroti go. I reckon we are working on a finals game plan though. When it clicks I think the teams that think they’re ready for us will be caught off guard.

Those 3 Burgess lads are going to get us another title---they are playing fantastically & are bulldozing the opposition.
The Roosters will be relying on Mitchell to get them over the line next week but I don't believe their pack can handle ours----Cook will carve them as he did in the last encounter!!
We can't afford anymore injuries though Doyen

I got home just before 11 and I saw Seibs and he was saying the coaching team will be working deep into the night.. I loved hearing that and then they'll dump it and get the key points out of it....

Please bro let me know how Kennar and Fui go especially.... I'm off to work soon!

Fui or Kennar come into bench contention next week actually.

Burns was solid missed a couple of tackles but did his job. I think he gets that left centre spot next week....

My oath......

Cmon mate we need you to be a boo'er when we get Cecchin again....
There is an old dude who sits in front of the members bar. I reckon he alone out boos the burrow :joy:. The only bad thing is when we loose, he takes of his jersey and puts on a hoody for the trip home. I’m not sure what to make of that.

Yeah my brother and myself were up in the members bar. Outside of a corporate box the best view of the game if you get a rail possie. For those members who like some nerve tonic, they serve full strength up there.

If we can’t get a rail view we head out to I think it’s 121. On the corner there.

And I was mate. Barely in my seat whole game... at least we had Klein.. he's a bit better than Cecchin.... we were all saying good riddance to Cecchin at the game last night after this season.... this week couldn't get better..... of course we don't support death threats but we don't have to be a fan of him after he lets teams slow us to a crawl and get away with loads of shit.....

I WAS STANDING LEAPING FOR JOY!!

My voicebox is in tatters but it was worth it...

Let's belt out another round of Glory Glory why not...

And

RABBBBIIITTOOOHHHSSSS

Worst case scenario is get Cecchin in a finals match...

When Cookie scored the try of the year I got a bit emotional... joy proud and all emotions then tears in my eyes....[/QUOTE

Cookie will have some serious competition for best try--check James Roberts!

NSW Cup commentary just said Campbell Graham picked up a wrist injury and Kennar is only playing the first half in prep for next week.

Observations from the bears game in the first half.

Players who wouldn’t look out of place in the NRL
-Britt. Not really a workhorse like most supporters love but he’s got good defence, can run lines and some nice ballplaying skills.
-Fuimaono. Isn’t looking his best with all the strapping but still has some damaging runs. Some pretty solid defence as well.
- Tracey. Great running game, great passing game, can definitely kick and isn’t afraid to tackle.
- Brittain. Small bloke but knows how to tackle and has a crisp passing game.

Imo Viliami Kaveinga (the fullback) is also a player to watch. Is very safe under the highball and runs the ball back hard.

If I’m looking at a replacement for Doueihi I’m probably looking at either Brittain or Tracey mainly because of their versatility. I’m leaning towards Tracey though. He looks above the rest of the competition.

I reckon Britt will play first grade next season if he consistently plays like this.

Kavinga is a player. They mentioned he’s been invited to preseason 2019 as well. Britt reminds me of Nicholls. The commentary called him the Ken Irvin of the ISP over 100 tries.

Well deserved. If he keeps digging in like this I can’t see why he couldn’t get called up to first grade.

I’m actually a big fan of Britt after watching this game. Doesn’t look like he’ll disappoint. He wouldn’t be playing big minutes either as Murray would slot into the starting side. Just an off the bench role like Murray currently does.

This is a well coached side you can see the Seibold effect on them.

I don’t think he qualifies this year. I think he’s a true Bears player, not in our 30.

Edit- I mean Kavinga isn’t qualified. I wouldn’t argue a Britt call up.
