Before we hammer the boys .we pretty much dominated that game against a team yes they have lots out but so do we.The roosters have been on of the form teams over the last few weeks
the big difference to me this week was we run a lot more players up the center instead of forwards getting it 3 or 4 passes wide .This game will hold us well come semi time
Up the panthers

Defence and attitude was better.

Luai was definitely quiet. Ivan was right when he questioned halves not running last week. Burton stepped up though.

Staines had a terrible tackle to let in that try. Otherwise was good in defence also saving tries.

Kikau is so much better when he gets a rest. He can't play 80 minutes.

Very left side dominant in attack.

Still don't think Staines offers enough in attack or bringing the ball out of our half. There is no way Cleary shifts him now, but if this was Round 10 or something, I would be keen to give May a couple of runs on his wing to see how he goes. (May was okay today, but not nearly enough of a sample size to be sure that he would offer more than Staines - though it shouldn't be hard).

Tago was solid again.

Was always going to be a tough game as i said all week. Down to the wire.

Some real positives. Some massive negatives.

Our attack honestly runs at 30% strike rate without nath. No suprises there other than to franklin.

Another negative was ivans coaching. God his rotations and initial selections are laughable.. f$cking embarrasing. Tago was beast mode all night yet he moved him from bench to bench side to side. Idiot...

Positives.

Charlie tried a bit harder tonight. Liked that he tried harder and got more involved. Great try saver on angus but god hes not a ball player..some passes he threw tonight were c grade ability. Cant blame him one on one for miss on topou. I think he mustve got a rocket this week as he had more touches in first 12mims than last week.

Tmay jnr was awesome. Looked almost a seasoned gf player from game one. Hes the future. Him and tago are our centre wing combo rd1 next year 100%..

Tago... well brilliant

Leota led the pack for once against a top team..well done moses.

Kiks had his best game in ages.

Burts played very well. Hes running game was great. Hes 5/8 style game was great. Not a 7.

Luais kicking was good. Kept chooks under pressure.

Everyone had a dig. Cant knock em for that

I hope Critter aspires to play like Manu.

Every touch the defence is put out of shape.

Tago is a thousand times better than Momirovski. Who was credited with 2 passes off 10 touches and I don't think either went to his winger. He had as many errors as he did passes.just a deadset terrible centre.

Capewell had one pass. Meanwhile Tago had 6 passes which is twice what they did combined in fewer minutes.

Tago looks lively with the ball. He's not a ball hog. Had better defensive stats than both centres. This merkin should be next centre up after Critter and Burton. Momirovski shouldn't be near first grade and Capewell should only be a fill in through mid-game injury.

I’ll never know why some of our fans think Staines is our long term fullback, really he should be more worried about losing his wing spot to May next season.

of course I do. I’m taking critta and burto as centre’s over Manu
Haha glad youre not coach lol.

The one eyed betcats strikes again..

If you think crittas even close to what manu did tonight your off your head. Him and teddy were single handedly keeping the chooks in it..... when can you say that about critta

You goose haha

Burton our best by miles

Burton very good but he got a shitload more space due to Yeo and Api keeping the defenders occupied around the ruck which he/Luai/Edwards didn’t have last week. I Couldn’t split Yeo and Burton for motm.

Luai played his role superbly as well, got us around the field very well and didn’t over play his hand.

But FFS we have to be one of the dumbest teams with a lead in the last 10.
