Yeah that’s true Manly are fairly average across the park except for Tommy, but right on queue he gifts them a try thanks Tommy
You cant shut down brilliant players.

You can try minimise there involvement but cant shut them out.

Thats the difference between manu and critta.

The teddys, turbos etc vs the rest.

Those guys find a way to stamp their authority on the game.

Even in a quiet game ther are influential

He scored 4 tries, all where he barley was touched running in to score.

Tmay jnr scores all them on debut too mate..

He offered more than staines has in a year of fg..i called it.

Tmay jnr
17 runs
194m
2 linebreaks
6 tackle breaks

Staines tackle % 44%
Tmay jnr 100%.

Staines let in a clear try all be it a hard stop but it shouldve been made.

Hes been protected on here by you and othere on here but hes just not an nrl standard winger.

Its been obvious all year..i called it after a few weeks of the season and said he needed to go back to ressies. Not sure why some of you are so one eyed. Take of the pennies glasses and its easy to see his not an nrl grade winger.

Staines 13 runs 157m and a try assist on debut even if we discount the "easy" tries.....

The bullshit argument that anyone scores the tries Staines did doesn't work when they just aren't doing it

Staines speed and instincts and zero hesitation all played part in that. May had opportunities he just didnt quiet ice yet Staines on debut was doing that.

May looks like a bit of a workhorse style winger. Not a fancy finisher.

Post like this show you are trying to hard to talk him down mate.
Not at all..its literally 100% fact... not sure how you dont know that.

If you carry it in for 25m untouched its 25m against your name for meters carried..

When he score 4 tries that were all a little out it adds up.

Taylan was more impressive than staines has been all year. Hate to admit it but its true.

Jesus Christ some of you are ridiculous with Momo. He did his job tonight, without being spectacular.

To somehow try and justify the Staines missed tackle try by blaming him for getting a hospital ball 70m upfield, says it all really.

Lol mx thought you were better than that..

Maybe you need to watch the cronulla debut last year again. I suggest you do.. watch his tries and tell me may doesnt score them.tonight...

3 of them he literally strolls in.. no one near him. One of them a winger lays a hand on him but any winger with half a bit of toe scores it..

You obviously havent watched any of May in the lower grades if you are simplifying his game like that. Hes as quick as charlie with more to feer as shown tonight.

All his oppurtunities were 10% at best..compare that to charlies on debut ( actually go watch)..

Staines isnt nrl winger level. I have no doubt ivan told him to have a dig this week because he had more carries in 12mins than all of last week..i think he knows his spots under pressure when to'os back..rightfully soo. May was great tonight and nadens proved hes a good finished on the wing

Anyone watching storm manly still think its a 2 horse race. Idiots lol.

Fact is a if turbo stays fit manly can upset anyone.. hes that good.

I think if we get cleary back and him and too stay fit its a battle between
Melbs
Us
Sths
Manly
I thought Melbourne kept him pretty quiet, but Manly did play well as a team

Martie always calling it without any pennies bias.

Momo made great decisions in defence tonight and scores a good try. Im a critic but have to praise him when its good. Well done momo

May wasn't playing like a 7 either when he was there. We are playing different but 4-1 since Cleary went down is the main thing
Our attacks been shit without nath. Without some individual brilliance tonight we get done.

Not trying to be a downer but stop kidding yourself franklin.

You keep saving we beat chooks easy etc etc..

Once api and yeo are back the attacks fine etc etc.

Well reality is it was great to win but the same issues with attack are there still and luai and burton dont work. Maybr against bottom.8 sides but our attack was very poor tonight.. no direction at all.
