Because I'm a glass half full type of follower at the moment, I once again thought there was plenty of effort by the forwards some big hits and for the most part they held them (look at the tries by the Titans they were not all though the forwards), only issue was not wrapping up the ball.

The 6 & 7 (or what ever number Anasta was) were terrible. in the 1st half.
Saying that though, when Farah went off, Anasta tried to take control and it made me wonder why Potter did not persevere with him at 7.
The 6 however, was horrible as was Cronulla bound Ayshford.

I thought the positional play of Simona was not good, Lockyer even said it with the first 'bombed' try and pass from Lawrence and then he did it again, both times it was Simona at fault.

Tedesco went pretty well.

I think next week Marshall should not play. Bite the bullet and play Anasta at 7 and Siro at 6 move Simona to the centre for Ayshford and play Koro on the wing.

Marshall certainly isn't driving up the value of his next contract wherever he signs on.
If he was withdrawn for the final games I couldn't argue.

I don't value Anastas contribution recently but without some experience WT will easily become the NRL's equivalent of GWS giants.

How bad was farahs injury?

They reported a dislocated knuckle/finger. They might choose to rest him but you would think he could play with it strapped. It was said on the telecast that he could have played in the second half but it looks like the coaching staff chose not to risk it and fair enough imo, the game was over.

That game was complete shit. If anything Marshal is more disinterested than ever. Just doesn't get involved at all and Anasta just makes mistake after mistake. f**k both of them off now.

Tedesco did look solid though, made plenty of good one on one tackles. Still doesn't look like making a bust but its hard when it looks like half the team doesn't want to be there.

I don't get the hate towards Marshall. I just don't see him as the problem although I am glad he is going.

As for the positives - Tedesco, Sironen and BMM. To me they all stepped up.

Still I think we are a complete rabble. That was the worst game I have seen us play in years.

Mate honestly, you can't be serious about Marshall. He can't pass without the ball hitting the ground.

What about that kick to nobody in the first half on the third tackle?

He also missed about five tackles.

He was abysmal yet again.

He should sack the clown manager he has for knocking back 750k a season. f**k me dead it would be overs if any idiot paid him a third of that on current form.

We should be thanking his manager.

Has done us a massive favour. We should all send him a XMas card this year.

I honestly don't see him as the problem. I just think everyone focuses on the negatives for some reason. That kick was crud for instance however he put up a bunch of really good bombs.

I think he has lost his running game and will never be the same player so I'm glad he is going but I don't see why he is to blame for today.

So what is the problem then?

That was so dissappointing,we have become a rabble across the park due to the fact only half the team are committed or interested.
The forwards try and toil hard but can not be expected to provide impact through out the entire game when we defend for long periods mainly due to our poor ball security.
Losing Farah did not help our cause with dirrection,at least Anasta and Sirro tried to compensate while Benji had a perfect opportunity to lead the team around the park but showed little interest to do so.
If Potter dumps Benji,Blake and Rowdy next week you could not blame him but i think the issue with the salary cap will save them.

Marshalls last 3 weeks are his worst 3 games of his career. He has tried to (or forced to) play halfback for 18 months now and it just does not work.

Interesting he was quoted as saying he would like to play 10,12 or 15 in Union, yet WT continually persisted with him at half which in fairness probably shackled his running game to the point where his confidence is shot and the running is non existant.

Its our spark in attack that is lacking. We need an attacking #6 who can set up tries and a #7 who can direct general play. I only see this happening with Brooks and Moses but I'd rather not rush them.

Positives:
Siro - showed signs of what he could become. Give him an off season in the gym and we could see a very powerful wide running backrower
BMM - finally starting to make the impact off the bench we need
Blair - I like him at prop, keep him there
Teddy - solid performance. Doesn't have the play-making spark but that will come with time

Negatives:
Lawrence - slow. Everyone was ripping into Simona for those botched tries but Lawrence didn't even look when he passed
Benji - very average, doesn't add any attacking spark
General handling - when we get into attacking formation we get too excited and drop the ball.

This is a fair summation.

Tedesco impressed me today. He goes hard all game. I still want to see him fire but maybe if the rest of the team were doing more he will start to offer more in attack.

I think BMM might have turned the corner in his play. Siro could really be a good player. Blair was really good.

It never works unless everyone is totally committed.
You get a couple that are bascially saying ''f**k it, I dont give a shit''....it affects the rest of them
