Round 21 v Raiders

I agree, I’m starting to dread next season already. Our forwards are nothing special & who will partner with Hunt next year to spark our attack?

Molo and Sua are obviously fine inclusions but the way we just freeze in games is bound to be a disease they catch at this club. We are going to be making up numbers for years to come.

Now cue the tragics come and tell me how everything will be fine once the juniors get games under them......being hearing that for years

Don’t what your opinions are in the previous posts but I thought you guys had a real crack and mistakes at the wrong time were costly. The effort was really there even if the execution could have been better. As an outsider, I thought the ref really allowed the Raiders lots of latitude in defence, they were offside in every play particularly when you were attacking close to there line. I hoped just for Hooks sake you could have ground out the win but it wasn’t to be.

Watching these clowns attack is like watching under 7’s. Side to side passing with no depth in attack.

Jack bird is not a full back. Offers stuff all in attack and is error ridden. Put him in the second row and tell him to tuck the ball under his arm, run straight and get a quick play the ball. None of this fighting in the tackle.

A hooker wouldn’t go astray either. Someone with spark rather than 40 minutes of pedestrian Mcculloch.

No second phase no Fkin nothing. I am so frustrated and the only solution is bourbon.

Good news is that it’s all over red rover for 2021. It was fun whilst it lasted (round 5). Thank you NRL for the rule changes and the high shot crackdown. The only team that benefitted was the one playing us and the NRL pocketing fines.

Now, only if COVID didn’t stuff everything up I would have something to look forward to doing on my weekends.

That 2nd half...what a truly unstructured, undisciplined, uninspiring rabble...Those sets of six we had camped on their line at the 60 min mark we looked terrible...side to side, no structure...no intent to set up at a goal post and swing back the other way with a set play...we looked like a bunch of headless chooks...hardly a decoy or a lead runner to be seen...

Reminds me of the last 7 years...

These are the things i thought would improve with a new coach...structure, game plan, execution...

It's been a while now and i don't think anyone, being honest with themselves, could suggest those areas have improved...

I don't want Hook gone, but if we get to this stage of the season next year and we are still producing the unstructured garbage that was on show in the 2nd half tonight then serious questions need to be asked.

I honestly don’t like where we are going - With Bird at FB we had legit no attack , with Sloan at FB and Sullivan at FE we had some attack but not enough for a Top 8 team - our best attacking displays have been with Dufty and his leaving - so I’m left scratching my head into where we go from here

It's another horrible call by a coach who is obviously floundering amidst a playing group who can't follow orders. It's lose/lose for mere fans.

How did we lose that.
Every stat in our favour.
More depressed this week than with last week.

I have never seen a club or team who can self destruct more than us.
No wonderr many big name players dont want to be here to play for this team who turns it up when the finals were in sight.
Today the raiders were terrible and we were worse.
Second halves are abysmal.
I don't mind getting beaten by a team who plays well.
Yet we had so much ball .
Norman has his blinkers on.
Dufty is in our best 17 but doesn't get picked.
How hard is it for these players with ball security.
When do we ever win any game in style.even parra were off that night.
. I'm just sick if this team and club
I've cut out the expletives.
Your in the know thsn most of us I suppose.
This club needs a new identity because so many have had a gut full of the way it's run
The way they play and the laughing stock we are.

Didn’t watch, listen or stream the game. The team is just a shadow of what a professional NRL team is supposed to be.
Over all of the excuses and hanging faint hope on some juniors, and journey men signings. Bottom 4 is where we are destined to remain for years, sorry to say.
