Yeah, it was the first time Burton was named in the 21 and if any journo went to training they'd easily notice him training in place of Maloney. Crichton has been in the 21 for a while now.

Yep. they have had a good solid month or so in NSW Cup so not like they are being rushed

Yeah but the journos will run it that he's playing anyway and we will all believe them if we get an exemption for him after Jimmy was found guilty and we stick a random there. You can do it but it's not beneficial. Crichton on the other hand as was said by Panther45 Crichton has been in the 21 and Whare in the 17 so the Sharks would be expecting that to be the team. Sharks won't fall for the Burton bamboozle though.

The injection of the new generation is great! All these guys have come up the ranks from a winning culture so hopefully it rubs off further in first grade.

Heck, it seemed to work wonders for a while with To’o, Kenny. Naden, Cartwright and Martin coming into the squad. Kenny and Naden didn’t even taste defeat until the Canberra game. To have these guys combining with the likes of Burton, Leniu and possibly Crichton could be something special.

That's very glass half empty. What if they just think he's nearly ready for first grade and want him to be at the next stage of development which is a week of first grade.

he played one full game at centre. Got moved to fullback when Aekins went off

You're right that it's a risk. They must have a lot of faith in these new kids.

It's plain stupid. Chrichton can debut when it's mathmatically impossible for us to make the top 8.

Luai and Egan are .5s as they can fill in but it's not optimal.

Halves:

Cleary
Luai
Burton(if he makes it)
Egan can play half if you are desperate.

Hooker:

Egan
Kenny
Luai can fill in again if desperate.

Why? We are a development club who's new batch of Juniors seem very ready for first grade somehow. Clearly a lot of work has gone into preparing this.
