Very impressed with the whole team today. I knew Chicko would be a good signing for us a couple of years ago but right now, he's probably in the top five hookers in the game. His game appears to have improved even more since he's been an 80 minute player. It looks like he's enjoying the freedom and picking his moments to inject his influence perfectly.

For me, if the forwards keep doing their job and Chicko, Sowie and Matty Moylan stay fit, the sky is the limit and we can give this comp a real shake.

Especially with most other teams falling over themselves all year. If we play finals from top 4 we can cause issues.

A grinding win. Got in front and never let the Dragons back in. Good defensive effort.

After two weeks of getting the better of the refs calls, today it was back to normal.

Good games by Soward, Moylan and Segs. The whole team did their job well.

In the finals now. Wonder how much longer we have to wait for everyone else to realise that we are a good footy side.

The best thing about this win and last weeks it was wins we weren't meant to win. I hope we don't lapse when we come home. I am glad we have made some judges eat there words. Denton said on triple M that we wouldn't win another game . Stick to interviewing not making red and green eye comments. Andrew Johns before the bulldogs game we won't make the 8. Paul Kent we wont make then 8 now. We won't make the 4. Lets go deep and stick it to these uneducated f**ks that they have not done there homework. Love the effort in defense. As one.

The Cowpats will mosey into town thinking they are white hot after the Tiges did us the favour of losing by 60. We'll probably find ourselves outsiders, at home, after 2 straight wins, against a side below us on the ladder. I do hope the North Queensland players read the papers and watch the local TV stations a lot this week.

Bloody good win for the state the team is in. Our 5th tackle attacking options were poor however, when Simmons went down we seemed to abandon high kicks to the wing and throw the ball aimlessly until a nothing kick was made by a non-kicker.

Bombing the Dragons is pointless. Not much chance beating Morris and Nightingale in the air.

Fair point but our last tackle options were rushed nonetheless, missed many opportunities for repeat sets and points.

So will Simmons be out next week?

Man, who cares? Seriously. The worst thing about that Panthers' draw thread in the main thread is that it's made us a lot more whiny and defensive.

Sowie had a cool head and led the team well.
Segs may very well be a Cyborg.
Great defense. Probably not good enough to keep the top sides out.

My standards may be a little low, but I'm calling it-

"The season has been a success"

Let's see what else they can do.

I will call the season a riproaring success if we can win a finals match. It's been 10 years as the trolls keep reminding us.

We'll be underdog for every game we play for the rest of the year. All the better. No one expects anything of them.
We're a great chance next week. Cowboys generally struggle travelling. May be flat and overconfident after their win. Segeyaro should be up for a big game.

That was a good win in Wollongong particular considering we were down on troops. We now have a 4 point buffer over the teams on 26 points so hopefully one more win should get us a top 4 finish. As long as our spine of Segs, Sowie and Moylan stay fit we have a fighting chance.

Ivan seems to have whoever runs out believing they can win. If that continues for the rest of the season who knows where we will end up. Regardless of where that is the whole organization should be pretty pleased with themselves.

The aim seems to be to get Smith used to the pace then use him as a option. He looked better especially in defence then the Bulldogs game. His footwork & speed could be an x factor when his confidence comes.
