Blair happy to get one over the Roosters

Outspoken Parramatta rookie Cheyse Blair has declared his one-man war with the Sydney Roosters won following the Eels' 36-22 NRL victory on Saturday.
Blair baited his former teammates in the lead-up to the round 23 fixture, claiming he was going to shove it in their face for cutting him at the end of last season without playing an NRL game for the club.
The Parramatta centre backed up his strong words with a solid performance for the Eels in scoring a try and having another disallowed in the sometime spiteful affair.
"I think they were all out to get me for what I said, it was great to get the win," he said.
"The first few tackles the boys were giving it to me. A few of the boys ran from the other side of the field just to whack me.
"I'm definitely happy, sometimes you can say that sort of stuff and it can come back to bite you on the arse, but I'm happy with my performance and I'm happy for the boys.
"I loved it over in Bondi, a good group of boys, I still speak to a few of them, but I got the opportunity over here and I'm making the most of it."
At one stage Blair tussled with an angry Martin Kennedy on the Parramatta Stadium turf but he insisted there was no ill feeling between him and the Roosters prop.
Blair has played 19 of the Eels' 21 games this year and said he was looking forward to building on that under new coach Ricky Stuart.
"This season hasn't been too good but we have something to look forward to with (caretaker coach) Brad (Arthur) at the moment and we have Sticky next year so hopefully I can hold my spot and keep playing good footy. It's really exciting."
