Great idea...My friends and I (40-62yo in our group) do a Zoom call once a month for 3-4 hours called Kitchen Music Sundays..we vote for a theme and then post to our hosts what songs from that theme we would like played. We chat..drink and listen to music..has kept my wife and I sane and in touch with our friends for over a year now..

What a great idea. My son and his wife are moving into their first (buying) home on the south coast. He's talking about doing virtual housewarming. I'm in. Should be fun.

Not wrong:

78m gained
6 tackles, 5 missed tackles, 1 ineffective tackle
1 error, 1 penalty conceded

His metre average last year was 188m per game. This year it's 122m per game. Less than half of what Brian To'o is averaging.
Look at their back 3. AJ not really a metre eater and Latrell not a metre eater. Their best team involves Mansour flaws and and all covering for those guys and making a lot find your front runs up the middle. That's why Bennet got him, to suit the balance of their team.

Bennet won't care about his average just what he does in the finals/near the finals. Mansour's played the majority of matches and it's been good enough to get them into either 2nd or 3rd. That's good enough, past that it doesn't matter.

I'm feeling like technology is really being humanised due to necessity..it really is wonderful being able to connect with your loved ones digitally when circumstances don't allow it it physically...Once the party is started..its like they are right there with you..

Mate at work mentioned this site the other day. Basically Zoom integrated online poker that’s really easy to jump into a table with mates and shoot the shit over a game of whatever rules you want. I’m not a diehard Poker guy but sounds like a cool concept that would translate really well to Zoom. Gonna give it a go this weekend.

Anyway for all the Charlie talk, I guess ultimately if we’re relying on our right edge to withstand a battering then we’ve probably already lost the game. Our strength is our forward pack and Clearys kicking game. We’ll need absolutely everything at its best to best Melbourne but send Fish, Moses, Capewell, Martin, Kikau, Yeo, TPJ over Souths pack and then get Cleary running Latrell all over the field and it should be enough.

I had my first jab earlier this month. Second will be September 5th. Had to settle for AstraZeneca as it seemed I would never get Pfizer.

When the odds of blood clots/death were lower than the Eels winning a premiership I wasn't too worried what jab I got.

Being indigenous I was only eligible for Pfizer. I would of taken either really and got in before lockdown because US made it a requirement to watch sport. I assumed it would follow like that here.. Seems I will need it to leave the house

A slight chance of picking up an injury. They want another week of training to get his fitness levels back to where they were pre quarantine. They don't want to risk him this late in the season.

Also having 2 players TPJ and Fish having their first games after significant layoff. I believe it's a sensible idea.

I like the way Ivan and coaching staffs are maturing in this area. I see some real growth in some of their decisions.

This game has zero bearing on our season or the semi finals.
We have already beaten Souths by 50 so there is not even a psychological gain to be won.
There is no reason to go "all in"
It's the same approach as the Melbourne game. We had so many out that the result is really null and void.
Cleary timing our run very nicely if you ask me. Taking the focus away from us.

It's 1 of only 3 games left...time is ticking and we are no where near our early season form. We have had legitimate reasons but it's go time baby

I agree with this. I mentioned a week or so ago that quarantine is hard on the body. I am obviously not a supreme athlete like Fish (in fact, I am probably the anti-Fish) but I got out of my quarantine about 4 weeks ago and I am still not 100%, continue to feel a little stiff and a bit ‘clunky’

Yep. Love the fact we are well under the radar this year

We are getting better. Defence last week was great. Attack decent too was just dumb errors fix them and we will be purring along
