Huge game this, we win this we're pretty much guaranteed a top 4 spot.

Same team as last week, Everyone deserves to keep their spot. Hopefully we can get a half decent crowd, unlikely though Monday night vs one of out lowest drawing teams, hopefully we can get at least 12k.

Grant was fine. Considering how long he was our of first grade, he was still a step up from Kite. Nowhere near the player he once was. But that guy won't ever play for us again. Such a shame things went the way they did. He was our hardest working player before things went sour between him and Cleary.

I am hopeful that with finals footy now on the cards Grant will be keen to go out on a high. You would think a spot in the 17 is his if he plays how we know he can.

I think we'll be lucky to get 8,000. I'll be there though, with Mrs Frog. Provided Simmo is OK, it'll be the same team.

If Tim can find the form he is capable of in the remainder of this season, we will have a much better chance of progressing far into the finals series. I hope someone, maybe Fairleigh, has a chat with him about the cheap penalties. We were very lucky not to concede a try off his penalties on the weekend.

While he's going to a strong club next year, things can change quickly, and this might be the only chance he gets to play in a Grand Final.

Yeah a firing Grant would be a huge boost for us. Same team for me. I'd go DWZ over Naiqana.

I know grant gave away a few penalties but I was quite happy with how he went. Showed plenty of aggression and ran hard - something he has not done in fg for a long time.

We need an enforcer out there in these big games. Hope he keeps it up.

Definitely wouldn't be making any changes. Apart from the two penalties (and lest we forget, we gave away quite a few yesterday), Grant played well, I thought. Robinson was impressive in defense, so should hold his spot.

I think Grant might sabotage us during the finals as he secretly despises the pantheers. He might give away penalties if we play against the bunnies in the finals

Grant might not like the coach but he must be on reasonable terms with some of the players. He wouldn't let them down, surely.

Id still like to see Anderson come in for Grant but I was happy with Tims performance(penalties aside) he wont let us down.

DWZ for Simmo if he needs the week off

Can't see them going past Naiqama.

With NSW Cup have the bye and having the minor premiership wrapped up, and NYC fighting to stay in the 8, DWZ, Blake and Moseley will all stay in NYC until they're knocked out IMO. I reckon Yeo would have dropped back to NYC too had Taylor and Carty not gone down.

Plus I think Naiqama has outperformed DWZ in just about every area this year at NRL level.

Looking forward to the game, got my tickets, knocking off early to travel across the mountains. Hoping we can secure our spot in the 4 with a good win!

Tim would be in the top 25, so there'd be second tier salary cap issues playing Anderson ahead of Grant you'd have to think.

Not sure what our top 25 is as the site only lists 20.
Players from outside that 20 that have played this year include John, Yeo, Cartwright, DWZ, Naiqama and Smith. That's only 35 odd games and I'd say a couple of John, Cartwright, DWZ and Naiqama would be top 25.
The second tier cap went up as well. We have nowhere near the amount of injuries we had last year. Not sure if Roberts leaving helps at all.

I think we'd be ok to debut a guy still but doubt it'll happen.

Injuries mean we don't have to worry about that. Like with Coote last year. We simply say Anderson's in for any of Peachey, Kite, Cartwright, Taylor etc and he plays.

I pressume it's the 120 odd games, Semi Finals and SOO experience Grant brings added to Anderson being injured at the time. As we know Ivan doesn't change a winning team so I don't expect anything different this week
