Round 24: 70's week

According the the NRL press release on the draw round 24 (Eels play Dragons) will be a 70's week similar to last years 80's week.

anyone got any early jersey designs

Guess this means 2006 will see 60's week, 2007 50's weeks and 2008 40's week and so on

They should introduce a 'retro' week, cause not everyone played in the 70s. Have all the teams play in their original jersies when they first came into the competition.

We weren't that bad at the end of the 70's, we made 2 grand finals ... 3 if you count the reply ;-)

Instead of these decade weeks, they should introduce RETRO week, where all the teams where their original strips. It's a great idea:

Brisbane (1988) they wore it last year in the first match at the new Suncorp
Bulldogs (1935) we've seen their strip they wore in 80s week
Canberra (1982) not much different, but they wore this in 80s week
Cronulla (1967) surely not that sh*tt one they wore in 80s week, but I remember they wore this one in a match against St. George in 1998
Manly (1947)
Melbourne (1988) well they dont have to take part
Newcastle (1988) theyve been wearing quite a few times this year, looks great
North Queensland (1995) wore it this season against the Bulldogs and also in 80s week
Parramatta (1947) wore a 'Legends' jersey to celebrate team of the century
Penrith (1967) ok mightve been sh*tt but surely they must take part for one week.
St. George Illawarra (1921 & 1982) as a joint venture I'm hoping they play both the Dragons strip and the old Steelers strip
Souths (1908) same jersey
Syd. Roosters (1908) they always wear this whenever they play Souths
Warriors (1995) colours have changed since, so I hope they wear their original one
Wests Tigers (1908) like the Dragons I hope they wear both.

I know the 70s Jersey had that Parra badge with the aboriginal standing in the boat spearing an eel, like the Parra Council logo.
