Travelled 3hrs there and back. There is NO way I can rewatch that debarcal. I was in the visitors bay on the corner. It wasn’t the loss that hurt the most, it was the complete lack of passion and enthusiasm from the players behind the posts after Raiders tries.

Two things that crap view of the game gave me. 1 Sammy is playing busted and was tackling with one arm for the last 10-15 mins of the game. 2 AJ is NOT an nrl level FB.
Im under the impression that more than sam is playing busted

The one thing I noticed from watching the game is that the use of the bench from Seibold was a bit strange

Fuimano - did he get on?
Tatola - came on for last 10 minutes
Clark - Didn’t come in until 2nd half
Murray - Played plenty fair enough

So effectively Souths are playing with just 1 player (Murray off the bench) and with the size of the South’s pack you just can’t get away with that because they will fatigue.
Which goes to prove we dont have enough players considered of 1st grade quality, and as usual we are inactive in the player market.
500 wasnt enough to entice sua, so we should have made it 700, he is on the same path as crighton asgood if not better and we expect him to come for lowball figures, Our recruitment is sub standard, at least we should pinch 2 young backrowers eg fafita

AJ isn’t an NRL fullback well finally someone agrees with me. I got roasted for saying it the other week.

Half of souths looked injured. The season is too long. It’s ridiculous that the most brutal contact sport in the world has such a long season. Every year you see at least 1 side who has been great for 80% of the season fall away at the business end purely because half their squad is wrecked from the year.

20 rounds is the perfect amount IMO. It would make for a higher quality season all round.

That makes sense.

The tiges look like specials for Thursday's match but it won't help them make the finals by the look of it.

I haven’t given away hope yet. Watched it this morning and I saw some good signs still. Just a few guys like AJ for example need to get their shit together. Letting Abbey outjump you for a bomb whilst AJ didn’t even attempt it was embarrassing. Plus that knock on in goal when it was going dead. He should’ve put Campbell in the corner to to go up 16-10 and we could have won then zero attempt to tackle Cotric. It’s close to the worst second half I’ve seen from a Souths fullback.

Keep the faith Southy. AJ cost us big time yesterday. AR wasn’t too bad I don’t think. Just needed to manage the game a bit better.

Get out there on Thursday Southy and let the boys know we are right behind them.

We need a big one from Cookie.

Jennings probs being back should help I hope.

Those little half chances we may take on Thursday.

Well very disappointing now I’ve seen it. The first 25mins was very good and we were getting a role on. Sam threw a silly pass on the attack when if he held the ball we would’ve scored next play. Forcing the pass isn’t always the best choice. Angus threw a pass then that needs to be taken yes it wasn’t easy but AJ is good enough to take that. Then the fundamentals like Tom dropping it on tackle two off the kick off at 12-0. Murray then loses it in a one on one strip. All the plays at the ball kept on giving them six again too.

AJ: Organised the defensive line well in the first half but against Abbey in the second half he didn’t even try to catch the high ball. He could not even put Campbell away for a try to go up 16-10. Then when the ball was gonna go dead he knocks it on in goal which meant a drop out instead of a 20m tap to us then zero attempt to tackle Cotric. It was a awful second half from AJ. All game he ran 65m whilst Holmes Slater and Teddy have all ran between 250-302m so if the alarm bells aren’t ringing now then they won’t wake him or Seibs up til our season is over.

Edit: My IPad currently isn’t typing properly so I’ll continue my review later

We had all the momentum, even won a scrum against the feed, then the penalty, and instead of putting them to the sword we took the 2. Then the rot started from the kick off.

Why didn’t we take the two when Clarky was off? Calm it down?

Instead AJ bombs a try

Gagai should be Fullback Alex is just a good winger and should go back their 5 runs 37 mts and 3 drop balls, Gagai last week 22 hitups 195 mts 2 try assists more dangerous and gets involved.
