Here we are.

9 in a row. Hard to believe but its happened.

Now we face our 2024 grand final opponents. No Hughes for the Storm and probably no Yeo for Penrith?

Expecting it to be as good if not better then our Bulldogs match in July. This one will be a ripper.

Watching the Storm lately and they haven't been going straight to Katoa on the right side but on Thursday night were desperate to get Coates the ball, mostly with the aerial attack.

It seems they are taking the spotlight off Katoa as well as Grant running a lot more than usual.

I've said this before, control Katoa and that's when the Storm goes to plan B in Coates. Stop Grant and put Munster under pressure in defence, and then the rest, being only bit part players, usually panic and make errors.

Play like GF 2024 and we will go a long way to winning again.

I think the Storm are a very well rounded side. Focus too much on shutting down one player and another will hurt you.

Drag them into deep water and drown them is how we have beaten them. We have the blueprint to do it, time to execute again. Roll through our sets, kick long and chase hard. Keep the ball in play for long periods. Get early clean ball to Casey and Tago when we have worked their forwards over.

I am expecting a very high quality game and whilst I’d love to see us win it, a loss here isn’t the end of the world.

Any word on Yeo the seems to be a lot of deflection when asked about him hope the injury is not worse than thought

Keep dropping the big boys underneath and make Grant make a billion tackles.

It’s not a pretty game plan, but it’s pretty damn effective.

This game wont tell us anything really. Will be interesting to see how hard both sides go.

If Bellamy learns from the GF and gives Grant a break or brings him off the bench I'd be more worried about the Storm.

we win comfortably - as chins said, both teams wont show any tricks - but we'll dominate them and win comfortably

we'll keep the pressure on the Wahs to retain 4th spot

Given the injury, most likely to be a small labral tear and then the issue is just stability and soreness. Could probably play against the dogs but I wouldn’t rush him back. Bring him back Raiders or Dragons.

It looked to me bris were getting on top and were going to cause an upset and then the footy gods intervened. Having said that melb were very sloppy and looked ready to lose

Melbourne were murdering them in the ruck before the hammys. Then Brisbane seemed to go up a gear in the wrestle and Melbourne probably knocked it back a bit. Hard to take much from that game. You see plenty of sides come up against us and look really competitive and even dominant for 20 minutes and they just can't keep it up.

This game really depends on how hard both teams want to play. Warriors in their state have some losable games to come (Parra/Dragons/Manly) so I think we can afford to drop a couple but maybe Ivan wants to go for that 3 point gap, get top 4 basically locked in and then ease back in the following games. If we're there to win, I think we're in better form than Melbourne who have had arsey wins against the Cows, Roosters & Eels prior to the Broncs game, lost to Manly and trailed the Knights at half time before kicking away.

I think Thursday night will provide a better insight into where we are trending.

The Storm without there halfback as well as being a little unconvincing of late are there for the taking.

Great opportunity for us to put in a really good performance in our last regular season game at Commbank.

I'd like to see alamoti on the bench rather than eisenhuth who could get caught out for speed,or Schneider who would likely not see any minutes.Alamoti could play a backrow spot off the bench his power and leg speed could cause storm problems in the back of each half.
