More touches doesn't necessarily mean more dominant. Have you heard Maloney talk? No way Cleary is the dominant personality there.

Maloney has generally just stuck to his left side and let Cleary run the show.

It's not Maloney's fault that Cleary doesn't know how to direct players and run a set play.

I personally don't think Cleary can organise a team. We will find out if its true in 2020.

No Maloney/dominant half in the side. No Anthony Griffin. Its all on Nathan.

Normally I'm with you on 99% of what you post Daz, but I just can't agree with this... Maloney has definitely played as the dominant half when together with Cleary - Just watch them both and see who's talking and directing the team out there

I think it's a personality thing. Jimmy is naturally talkative and assertive. Nathan is being forced into that role but isn't a natural so it's easy to be overshadowed and lose the confidence. A rookie like Luai or Burton is perfect for him so he can take control from halfback.
