Finally watched a full game. We have no personality in attack. Don't attempt offloads, don't attempt quick runs up the middle, don't have any backline plays. Cleary Jr. is anonymous. Cleary Sr. has no clue in attack. Our defense on the line is good though.

If there was one moment in the game which summed up our attack it was with about 16 to go.

We were on the attack 4th tackle goes to Cleary at first receiver with our line set to the left and he throws an inside ball to Dean Whare who gets smashed by three defenders.

The Roosters have great defence but our attack is really painful to watch.

I still reckon we get more penalties inside the 20 than any other team! Even with lousy attack it makes it easier to defend when you can continually reset your defence!

This team is just poor allround. It's ill disciplined and disorganised with by far the slowest offensive line speed in the NRL. We never have players in full motion when receiving the ball because our timing is off and nobody seems to know what play is on. This is mainly because our line is too flat. Having a flat line is okay IF the team is organised and the passing is precise. Ours simply isn't. Quite simply this team is very poorly coached.

It would be nice to get 50% of the 50/50s.
I still reckon we get more penalties inside the 20 than any other team! Even with lousy attack it makes it easier to defend when you can continually reset your defence!

Yeah, definitely why the team misses the finals, getting too many penalties in the opposition 20. Absolutely delusional.

Effort was there, but totally outclassed. Long way to go in attack and its obvious it extends beyond Nathan Cleary. Our forwards look like they don't train in attack. And our spine just doesn't have the class to put on the finishing touches out wide.

In a way I'm glad we miss the 8. It doesn't paper over the cracks and certain players + the coach will receive deserved heat. We were crap in 2019, no excuses.

Agreed very poorly coached team rudderless and predictable plays , players seem like they have given up except for Edwards Leota Kikua Leniu still giving thier guts . Baloney is cooked as well as Whare , on positive note we have some good youngsters but need someone like Valintine Holmes who would bring some speed and evasion . We dont really have any tries in us sadly .

How good was that first 5 mins but!

In fairness though, I thought we actually had a crack tonight they’re just a much better team then us. We likely beat the Broncs & Cowboys if we played with that same intensity.
