I for one am happy that Sam has moved to prop as that's his spot next year imo.

I like it. Harsh on Musgrove but he'll still get good minutes from the bench i believe. He has had some really good performances off the pine.
I feel our prop rotation looks much stronger with Sam up front and both Musgrove and George coming on to relieve the starters. It's probably the best our bench has been for some time and has the ability to influence the game.
Big show of confidence in Murray, giving him an opportunity to show us what he can do at lock. Turner possibly named as insurance so the prop rotation isn't disrupted should Murray need a break.
Still not a fan if a hooker on the bench but it's an improvement.
Structurally, the best 17 we've named this season imo.

I think that's the best 17 we've been able to put together for quite some time.
Let's add in a couple of guns in GI & Gags & lets see where we end up. If i was confident with 9 & 6 I'd say top 4.

Top 4 is pretty extreme but it's definitely close to top 8 worthy. We've got a few guns in our juniors that's for sure. Really keen to see doueihi and Johnstone

I don't have Facebook R20 but I have instagram and most of the fans on their are happy with Sam moving to prop. With the exception of 1 or 2.

I try and avoid discussing sport (or anything really) with others on Facebook or other platforms of social media, there are just so many part time supporters on there that have no clue whatsoever. I'm all for having an opinion but on social media you get a lot of people commenting for the sake of being seen commenting.
I would much prefer to discuss things on a forum like we are now, with people who are actually here to discuss footy with others.

Yeah definitely not top 4 but we have the potential to sneak into finals in 2018.

Don't want to get ahead of ourselves because we're only playing well when it doesn't count. If the boys can get some consistency going next year and Madge makes the right selections there's always a chance.

Someone on the bench who can contribute more to the side utility wise than Farah and it's bang on for me.

Haha no way would we drop Farah. I'm kind of curious to find out what's gonna happen next year. There's no way Farah will be happy with the current situation but he will be getting 500k. That's probably the difference for another recruit

I do hope he moves on. I dislike the modern obsession with a bench hooker, especially under the 8 man interchange cap.
Most of our bench is very one dimensional in an era when a bit of flexibility is required. We haven't evolved with the interchange rules like other clubs and it's a big reason why we are falling behind the pack. Same goes with the Dogs.

I don't mind the rotation but it only works if you have a monster forward pack like the roosters, cowboys do. Our forward pack has lacked presence for a while now. It's starting to change with the juniors we have coming through.
