Brisbane will be gunning for their sixth straight win when they take on the Eels this Friday. It will be their longest streak of wins and their cause will be aided by the inclusion of Adam Reynolds, Jordan Riki & Kobe Hetherington.

The challenge for the Broncos is that after last week's win against the Cowboys without Reynolds, they've started to pop up in the media as the Panthers biggest threat. It's easy to get complacent in such a situation and while this Broncos outfit appears to have learned it's lessons from last season if there is one team that can expose them, it's the Eels.

The Eels have historically handed Brisbane some of its most demoralising losses. Whether it was the opening game of QEII Stadium or the 2019 Week One final, there is a long history of disappointment for the Broncos.

Going in this doesn't appear to be much of a talking point. In fact the biggest talking point right now is the future of Payne Haas after coach Kevie Walters boldly declared Haas would re-sign before the finals. Otherwise it appears to be business as usual for the Broncos, which with their momentum, is a good sign heading into the clash.
