BMM is finally becoming the player I knew he could be.

He went through a period of being very average but I never took down my avatar because I knew he would bounce back.

He looked good as a 13. He has the size to work up the middle and has considerable speed for a big man.

Tedesco was outstanding aswell. It goes to show that the Tigers really just need confidence more than anything.

Siro just needs a bit more bulk imo. He has the skill but I just dont think he quite has the size to make the impact needed........yet (give him an off season in the gym).

Still can't get over the Lote try..... 24 points up if the right call is made.... but nah turns to a 12 point lead before the break ....grounding perfect. . Ball bounces backwards with no contact with a souths players so im still bemused as to why they disallowed it.. BS call.... no wonder Toovey lost his shit

Even the Simona/fullback contest for the bomb. No way was that a shoulder charge.
Then Lote stripped the player one on one and put the ball down.

Lots of BS from refs tonight.

Thought it went from Simona forward into Inglis then to Lote

I couldn't believe Lote didnt kick that ball dead rather then grab at it

As I said earlier. . Manly copped the same shit... I always try to think this game is above board but some sus calls and penalty counts make me wonder.

We were never going to go 80 with a fair try disallowed and a 8-2 penalty count against us... im really pissed off about the favoritism going their way , seen it against Manly the other week and it looks f**king suss to me !
Regardless im very proud of the teams effort.

gee after that I wunna back an easts / Melbourne GF .
that may have even have suppassed souffs /manly as the most one sided
refereeing performance of the year

My thoughts as well... chances are if either of them win ill never cross paths with any of their gloating 49 supporters.

Souths have a first 30 like that against Manly/Easts/Melbourne, they'll make the Bunnies pay.

I think the cupboard is going to collect dust for at least another year.

Once the game got back into a grind the Bunnies were always going to get on top of us,while we moved the ball around we had them rattled but with fatigue its impossible to keep that style of play up.One or two calls from the ref went our way however a majority favoured Souths at vital times durring the game.

Souths are a good side and deserve respect. We competed between 60 to 70 minutes but you cannot afford to give them that much possession through penalties and expect to win.

Our interchange except for Ava failed us. Akaoula and other young forwards who provide impact must come into consideration next year.

Simona must stay at left centre and perhaps Lawrence could play right centre next year?

I cannot see how Lawrence gets a walk up start next season in the back line.

Richards will be needed for his goal kicking etc., You cannot drop Simona, Nofo and Koro and then you have Big T who should make a step next year (maybe a impact player off the bench given his size)

Buys like Moltzen & Rowdy should rightly struggle to make the NRL squad

Id start season with Lawrence mainly due to his contract length and amount and trying to get as much value out of it as posssible and give his as much chance as possible before we take the hit by selling him and paying his contract elsewhere. same for Blair. But cant go too far wrong with any combo in the backline. Exciting times ahead......if Brooks doesnt get injured and replaced by Crapasta and we are back at square one!

Tedsco
Richards
Simona
Lawrence
Noufoluma
Sironen
Brooks

Injuries will hit. Korobiete and Lote will get plenty of first grade too. Some fantastic talent there.

I think they may shift siro to the second row, maybe we will see Lawrence in the six?

Any chance of Lawrence in the second row, maybe playing inside Simona on the left?

I'll agree the refs do tend to favour the higher placed sides (barring Easts for some reason, but i'm not complaining) and after that ridiculous sin binning of Burgess you could tell they were going to try let us back in. Not saying that was the only reason because we did well but i hate how the referees dictate so much about a game...

Wake up and smell the coffee, Souths were not favoured last night, if you can justify the Burgess sin bin as favouritism than your a fool. The only reason the Tigers were in the game to begin with was because you had an opposition one man down in the first 4 minutes of the game. In the first half the refs allowed the tigers to lie all over the tackled player and stand offside, this was rectified in the second half and justifiably so. The Tigers were lucky with the result, they caught Souths on the hop after the sin bin and a little unfocused with an eye on next weeks Minor Premiership and the final series.

Hahaha like Roosters in their first forty against a sharks team last week. I'd say, any team that loses a player to a sin bin in the first 5 minutes of a game will struggle, however, the tell tale signs of a good side is how they respond, and 32 unanswered points to win says it all.

Some very ordinary one on one defence which lead directly to 3 tries. 1 by Blair and 2 by Sironen. It is a shame that Blair does not put the effort into tackling forwards as he does to the opposition halves, an expensive blunder.
That air swing by Lote a minute before half time resulting in an unexpected rabbit try, was a killer.
The rabbits are much more accomplished wrestlers than the West Tigers and easily won the battle on the ground.
It was an improved effort the last two games and Benji tried.
We still have ambler forwards with little leg drive and get dominated. It is as simple as that!
