Round 25: Who do we want to win?

The most important result we wish for is always a Sharks win.

As true blue (black and white) Sharks supporters we should be wishing for all remaining games to be draws and that the other finals contenders sustain as many injuries as possible. "Oh, how unsporting of you" the politically correct breed will say, but that's about the sum of it.

Yes sh*teferbrains we did make the eight!

It would be fantastic to put you perennial failures out of the semis, but it looks more likely that we won't get the chance because someone else will do that for us in the first semi.

Raper should get on the blower to Ando, he might be able to instill some winning culture into "the joint".

Sharkies winning the next 2 and going into the finals series with the start of a winning streak is far and away the most important thing
But...

Assuming that happens, and certain other results go our way we can still (mathematically) make fourth.

I'm not much of a religious guy, but another chance to see the Peach at home is really something to pray for.

So..

This week we thump Knights, Storm thump Tigers, Rabbits thump Cowboys. This puts us into equal fifth with Storm behind Tiges, & ahead of Cowboys
Next week: we thump Rabbits, Cowboys thump Storm, Panthers thump Tiges.
This puts us into equal fourth with the Tiges - 2 great wins by us and 2 great losses by the Tiges and we beat them on F/A.

Usually I'd say this is just dreaming, but this season has been so weird that it could just happen.

Now sing along:
Whatever gets you through the night,
It's alright, It's alright...

the tigers and the eels will be the toughest. 8th position against brisbane will be fine. 5th would be nice (considering the dragons end up 4th) but i cant see that happening...

i can see us ending up in 7th and playing the eels...

cant say much there, but we have beaten them with their full squad (begining of the year) dont see why we cant do it again...

WobbygongWhat 11 straight? lol

I think you stupid "ST. GEORGE ILLAWARRA DRAGONS" fans should take a look at the fact that because your team merged with another that makes them a new entity...THUS making your 'club' have no premierships to its tally. Well at least the Sharks never had to merge with another club to stay around..

Wolverine,

Sorry but we simply refuse to accept that contention and believe it to be incorrect!

SHARKS DRLFC - 38 years and won nothing!

Hahahahahahaha, who cares what you accept. Its a fact. The St George Illawarra Dragons have NEVER WON A PREMIERSHIP. Its ok, get used to it, we did.

Now follow Snoops Free advice and FU** OFF

*That really does release tension, I recomend everyone try it

If we win both our games, we are guaranteed 6th spot, which is a DAMN SIDE healthier than 7th or 8th this year.

If other results go our way, 5th could be ours. 4th is a bit unreasonable now I fear.

Off the subject for a moment.
As I drove into Cairns today there was a huge sign attached to the speed sign saying:

GO SHARKS.

I've since found out the grand final of the womens netball is on this weekend and the Cairns Sharks are the favourites, having won the title for the last 3 years.
