it all adds up to tension
Just think - two weeks and you get to see all your favorite nephews and get drunk with them.

I think a count down thread could be in order soon...

I don't want us to play in the Friday night semi cause I could have to work.
On our day I can see us rolling any of the other teams except Brisbane if they hit their straps. One thing our way if we finish 7th. or 8th.: we have to win whereas whoever we play can afford a loss. Unless, of course, the boys would like their end of season trip to start as early as possible. Not for Nuts, of course. I reckon he'd like to be smashing them 24/7, 12 months of the year.

Glad you brought that up Popper because I WOULD OF been working on the Friday so I'll save my ADO now.

Not that I think we'll be in the Friday semi as that is 4th vs 5th.

If we win both our games, we are guaranteed 6th spot, which is a DAMN SIDE healthier than 7th or 8th this year.

If other results go our way, 5th could be ours. 4th is a bit unreasonable now I fear.

4th is impossible.

4th Tigers 32 +129
5th Storm 28 +172
7th Sharks 28 +20

Tigers vs Storm this weekend.

Should the Storm give the Tiges a shellacking of monumental proportions (e.g. 62 points... :D ), and then go on to lose in the final round, while the Tiges get thumped again... Then it IS still possible that we finish 4th should we win our final 2 games...

But I doubt the Storm will win anyway...

Now factor in the Cowboys :)

Like I said, impossible. IMO. But mathemtically not I know.

Simply put

We need to win 2 games. We need Tigers to lose 2 games. We need Storm and Cows to lose one each. That gets us level on 32 with Tigers and the other 2 on 30.

While that's all happening we need to make up 110 points on the Tigers differential. We would need at least one more blowout win and them to have a blowout loss.

Can't see it :)
