I'd love for a single person on here to explain the benefit of moving Lawrence to five eighth.

He has failed in this position every time it's been tried.

Last week, Sheens said he moved Moltzen to five eighth to support Marshall in the absence of Farah.

So this week Farah is still out yet he moves Moltzen to fullback and puts a centre with no ball playing ability or kicking game in the halves.

What can you do but laugh?

The justification will be Lawrence is a ball runner and Moltzen will be a half in attack.

So again unless Rowdy or Aysh take it upon themselves there will be nobody trailing through the ruck.

That is just Jim Dandy

Ryan was so poor at fullback last week and Sheens realises how important that position is.

It also allows Lawrence to get his hand on the ball more. He is a great runner of the footy and gives Benji a great option.

Still I disagree with the movement.

As for the rest of the team. Iosefa is a gun player in a lot of ways but I don't want to see him in the team again simply because he hogs it worse than Farah does at the worst possible moments.

Our centres are simply too slow and with Utai on one wing it means that again we lack speed all throughout the outside backs.

I'd also prefer Moltzen to remain at 6. Moving him back is not the right move. I would have left Ryan at 1, played Moltzen at 6, and Lawrence in the centres. I would have also played Politini at hooker.

This would of made more sense than what we have been given this week...

Agree 100%. Politini must have stepped on a black cat as he walked under a ladder. He cant get a break.

Same old garbage from Sheens.
Lawrence to 5/8 is a sick joke.
Moltzen back to fullback....
Give Bell 13 instead of Heigno FFS
Give Moors a start instead of Blair FFS
Drop Ayshford FFS
BMM needs a season of Jim Beam Cup and some game time

Only a short week ago it was:

Sheens explained the reason behind shifting full-back Tim Moltzen to five-eighth to partner half-back Benji Marshall. He also said the Roosters are a side that always seems to ‘have the wood on us’.
"Without Robbie Farah there, we needed another kicking option and another ball playing option and Tim fits that bill,'' Sheens said.

He kicked once, ran it 3 times.

Edit: Humble off the bench??

After a glance at the team selection, it would be a cheap trip to Disneyland for coach Sheens - he is already f**ken in it!

Anger has left, I'm just laughing at it now.

This weekend will be like watching a car wreck.

Surprised he didn't name Ellis at 6.

How can any supporter come in here with a straight face and say this is brilliant stroke of genius by sheens?
Humble is sitting on the bench ffs. Mind boggles right now.

Ryan in the centres, Lawrence in the halves. So much for even trying to make the 8..

I wonder how much the insiders had on tigers missing the 8 when we were premiership favorites?
You have to ask these questions when you get team selections like this.
