McLean dropped and has shown more thsn both centres that plsyed tonight this year IMO.

Our team selections suck. Our form is the worst it has been in years. Largely because our team selections are awful. Why did Eisenhuth come in for Geyer? Why do we need 5 front rowers? Mav was actually starting to find his feet in first grade and is dropped for the ploddiest plodder that ever plodded.

We desperately need Cleary to be fit.

People don't like to hear it but Ivan is a weirdo with selections. Alamoti/McLean should be the centres and like you said Mav finally looks solid enough then gets dropped.

Salary cap drain and regular injuries to several of our best players has brought us back to pack. I think it's too easy to take the 2020-2023 years for granted as if every year should be like that and forget that most clubs have unremarkable form and seasons quite often. Not a lot has gone our way this year, but we'll finish 4th at worst after 27 rounds and I'm grateful for that under the circumstances.
