Wigan have secured a play off place with a win over St Helens. Wigan are currently sixth and Warrington miss out despite a close highscoring win at Salford.

Huddersfield are currently fifth, but a loss by 2 or more points at the hands of HKR tomorrow will see them slip to sixth below Wigan. The Huddersfield result will effectively determine next week's play-off opponents.

Leeds took care of Wakefield to secure second place behind St Helens. While Hull secured fourth place with a win over third placed Bradford. Catalans host Harlequins tomorrow, and need a win to make sure they hang onto tenth spot.

Leeds 46 v
Wakefield 4

Salford 26 v
Warrington 34

Hull 20 v
Bradford 10

Wigan 20 v
St Helens 12

Hull KR 25 v
Huddersfield 24

Catalans 30 v
Harlequins 12

So next week we have:

3v6 = Bradford v Wigan
4v5 = Hull v Huddersfield

The week after we have:

1v2 = St Helens v Leeds
?v? = ?

I can't see Huddersfield slipping up at Caravan Park. The Dobbins have done what they wanted to do. Their season ended at the KC a couple of weeks back. They'll just want to jump on a plane for their hols and will be going through the motions. They don't have the best of home form anyway.

I'd be surprised if Huddersfield didn't play at their best to get momentum for the play-offs. They're a side that can spring a win over the higher sides on their day, should have two hard to pick matches next week.

One point defeat means Huddersfield finish 5th ahead of Wigan by one point on points difference.
