It's the same 19 as last week.

They must have all played well after being flogged.

This has to be the game for our backs the forwards just have to finish even, let's the backs sort it out

It’s the same team because ;

1. It was our first loss and it wasn’t as bad as the score line indicated. Of course you can’t blame it all on Ashley Clown but he had his hand in it giving the Riff some handy rulings.

2. No one as yet is banging the door down in NSW Cup for selection after they played their first game of the season last week.

If we beat the Dolphins it will be because our forwards would have laid a dominant platform for our backs. Not our backs being dominant over the Dolphins backs.

I actually thought we were alright last week. We do lack a zippy gonalez, which the Dolphs have a few. Penrith dont have any either to be fair.

Defensively we were pretty strong, for the most part.
It's the lack of a game breaker that killed us, and a seeming lack of a plan B.

The Dolphins were pretty ordinary themselves on Sunday so no idea what we'll be faced with.

Actually we do have Dykes version II. How's he going?Anyone heard anything?

Edit: Im talking about Ison.

Still not listed anywhere.
And yes, I fear that is what we have on our hands.
The club has been very quiet about it.

Fitz has refused to drop Ramien, he never has doubt he never will.
Have Ramien play for Jets he seems like type of player that would respond to being dropped

And who would you bring in to replace him?
Vea'ila? No f**king way
Gabrael? Defending at ~60% effectiveness.

Hiroti is the only real option atm, and he's just back from injury.

Oh, and Riley Jones is the other option, but he hasn't been sighted since the trials either.
The cupboard is bare.

Don't use logic and reason.

Throw the young guys that aren't ready in.

Last year Hiroti wasn't injured but he stuck with Ramien.
When Iro was in reserves his defensive stats were not the best, because of different players put around you.
Gabrael is old enough to be given a go, the tigers have thrown what a 18 or 19 into the backline, the Panthers have a couple of youngsters out there, but Fitz would rather stick with Ramien who was out of form this year, failed again against the Panthers.
And remember the club were happy for him to go over the off season, had that happened Gabrael would have been in the team

Totally left field but could you make a centre out of Britt or Teig? Iagree that Gabriel and Ve’ella don’t appear to be the answer. I’d prefer Ma be given a shot.

This suggestion (Nikora to centre) was made in another thread.

The response was generally positive.

Wilton is too slow.
