Yeah I wouldn't be too worried. The most concerning thing was the lack of cohesion in attack. First game back in grade for John who isn't far back from a major injury himself. We're also still coming off a very disrupted off season. I don't expect we'll get it together consistently until a similar time as last year which will co-incide with Sowie coming back.

Some people seem to be making more of this then it is IMO. Especially regarding John and even Peachey.

We made 15 odd errors and lost by 8 points against arguably the benchmark of the competition. We hold the pill slightly better and we (somehow) go close to winning the game or even win the game.

Hardly need the kneejerk reaction of dropping players IMO.
John is not a first grade quality player. We have alternatives who give us a stronger 17. IMO he should never have been picked to begin with, and his performance didn't change my mind. Soward can carry an average half, Wallace cannot.

Likewise I love Peachey and when he is in form he is a must for our full strength team. But unfortunately he's not in form, he's not looking dangerous in attack at all, makes poor decisions and isn't the best defender. If he's not firing in attack, there's no point having him in the team. We have blokes without his x-factor that are stronger in other areas. If he doesn't have his x-factor, bring someone else in until he does.

Obviously we will name the same side due to playing Monday night, and odds on our only changes will be injury related. But winning or losing, we should be looking at improving our top 17 whenever it's possible. But we seem to wait until injury forces changes.

Cartwright and Peachey just haven't gotten ball in position to do much. No stretched defended or 1 on 1s. Nothing to worry about, just the way the games have gone.

Geez Mx we'd drop 3 players every week if you had your way, you don't improve a side by going to your 3rd choice five eighth and dropping a player like Peachey. Competition for spots is good but chopping and changing all the time is is bad for a team, Peachey hasnt even been bad he just hasnt had a lot of oppurtunities he has still looked dangerous.

Not worried by that loss, we played pretty poor and still easily could of won, Roosters defence is pretty good.
