For six years at least our outside backs when defending their 10 metre area want to rush in. The result - for every try saved, four more are let in. All you do is create an overlap that the cover defence have to make up for by running an extra 10 metres across field. Usually, that cover arrives too late - and if they are on time, then they are vulnerable to a step inside and a flop over the try line by the runner. How many times does the proverbial have to hit the numbskull/s in the face before they start to trust their inside defence? What did Einstein say about the definition of stupidity?
