NRL Press Conference: Round 4 v Storm | Dragons
Hear from Shane Flanagan and Damien Cook following the side's big win over the Storm.

My bet is RFM getting called up. Sele needs time in cup. Wouldn't call up LPT yet tbh, I think he still needs time to develop in cup even if he has been a standout thus far.Who replaces Stewart for next week I think he has a jaw issue, no Lawrie please.
Yes mate I agree to a point re the weather, but there was a few occasions a grubber would have tested their handlingGetting caught today on the 5th was probably a strategy given the weather.
I think we challenged more often today than we had in the first 2 games
for me the only thing that would have made the win even better is if had been the first round of the season. ps how are you doing mate.Yes mate I agree to a point re the weather, but there was a few occasions a grubber would have tested their handling
Melbourne were below par, but that's because they're wankers.Just watched it and all I can say is that one was for all the true believers.
The crowd's passion over the effects mic was f**king awesome to hear and it was a rare day that we all truly get to enjoy.
I love it whenever we beat the Storm and will savour it for the whole season.
Agree here , just on Illias he did ok yesterday made some good tackles on the line and was a good link to our sweeping plays , but I have yet seen him take on the line ........ Really don't know if he has any speed , I guess he is slowly finding his way after a long lay off ......Yes mate I agree to a point re the weather, but there was a few occasions a grubber would have tested their handling
Yes bloody shame for the young man just when he was hitting his straps....lets hope his diagnosis is not to bad...unfortunately a fractured jaw can knock your confidence aboutOnly downside to the win is what looks like a possible fracture of the cheek or jaw for Hamish Stewart.
Off for scans today.
Estimated to be out 3/6 weeks if no surgery is required.
With surgery, could be a few months.
100%.......and can you believe not 1 penalty all game for Storm being inside the 10...Seriously !!!!!!!!!!! The games little darlings are so perfect.I've just watched the game again and OMG, Gough was putrid against us. In the space of 1 min, he missed a knock on from Coates when Guthos tried to pass the ball to Sloan over the top of Coates. He then penalised Luciano for jack shxt, then Sia for wrestling the neck (storm do this EVERY tackle, then penalised JDB when King dropped the ball cold. This was followed by penalty for a grapple on Blore (Guthos & Tupoloti were claiming the exact same thing and got nothing), this was followed by a series of 6 agains that I'm still trying to understand why.
Oh..... and if we had any other 7 in that first 20 mins, we would have been down 18 points. Ilias was a beast with his online defence.
I never blame the Refs for our loss , but yesterday was different how one sided and arrogant was he the first 30 min ......100%.......and can you believe not 1 penalty all game for Storm being inside the 10...Seriously !!!!!!!!!!! The games little darlings are so perfect.
We never got this with Sour Face ....... 7 years of misery thank the F**K he's gone .........Thank you Sir !!!!!love the passion!!!
That's the coaches job now to make sure they are mentally prepared to back that performance up against the teams below us on the ladder. Let's see if flano has itGreat win! I can't figure this bloody team out wouldn't be shocked if we lost to Parra next week, I'll enjoy that great win for now though!
His kicking game improved 100% in the second half. More height, good hang time, targetted better and shallower, allowing the chasers to apply more pressure to the catchers &/or kick returners. One thing I’ve noticed, I can’t remember Lachlan Ilias run the ball at all.
I realise he is coming back from a bad injury, and maybe I’m old school, but your halves have to run the ball every so often. Anyway, that’s an area that will improve his game and the team once he feels confident to reintroduce that..
