I agree both Sloan and Amone havnt as yet set the world on fire.......but I fail to see how a stint in the lower grades will do anything for their confidence......lets be honest if you look at our team in general we have a lot of new players and youngsters still finding their feet and its going to take time to gel ...with Suli, Molo, Su'A Moga, Burgess, Mbye, Gosiewski and Woods and then you throw in Sloan, Amone, Sullivan and even young Ramsey (all of whom havnt had a great deal of 1st grade) its little wonder we are not a cohesive unit yet......yes we all want a quick fix after the McGregor years especially if it looks like we will continue to languish in the lower half of the table but dropping and swapping is not the answer at this stage....when I look at our spine in particular today and see Mbye, Bird, Hunt and McCullough sorry but it hardly inspires me that we are heading in the right direction.....I hope they prove me wrong....good luck

Yes, good luck is right. We will need tons of it!

Understand Hook seeking to play experienced, physically rugged players at 1 & 6.

However I don’t like the move. The club needs to invest time into their development as first graders.

I would have Soward working with Amone & Sullivan.

The game last week was not lost by Sloan and Amone.

Poor game plan against a Fitzgibbon coached defence/plus Sua sin bin put us behind the 8 ball.

Every Cronulla attacking raid in the wet was executed to perfection. The chances of that happening regularly are slim.

If anyone deserves to be dropped it’s the coach of our attack.

Amone and Sloan need to be given the freedom to play what’s in front of them.

One out footy wastes their best attributes.

Very disappointed with this decision.

Cross fingers Hook has made the right move.

Interesting that this was all leaked last night. Either Amone or Sloane aren’t happy, clearly.

Don’t mind the decision, but to do it 24-48 hrs before the game is a bit strange.

Assume Sloan or Amone will be 18th man. So one of them might get a run anyway.

Good test for us.. I think bird at 6 will give us a bit more aggression and direct running.. we know Parramatta are gonna come at us hard and we need to match it and then some.. I like mbye he is an experienced player who has alot more braincells then old Corey Norman did.. last week was lost as soon as sua was binned let's hope the boys are up for this game.. we got this dragons by 12 💥💣

They are not going to put their hands up.

I'm a supporter and happy for the kids to find their feet however, Hook's job is to win games.

It's been an average start somewhat out of our hands and need the win.

I hope it is just a freshen up for Sloan rather than an elaborate way to get McCullogh back as a starter…..

I also hope McCullogh is fit. My mate dislocated his elbow and it took 6 months to get right. Mind you that was about 82, so I acknowledge 40 years imprisonment in sports science and medical treatment

Just watching reggies and we have the biggest bunch of plodders you can imagine. No heart no energy no motivation... just a Passy inch on uninterested players... slOANE INCLUDED. the club as a whole should be totally embarrassed by this bunch...if this is the culture within the club we are absolute pretenders

Sloane will go backwards playing with this burn... can aalready see his head down. Burgess I think has taken 1 run in the whole match....a totally demoralised team who look like it’s the end of the season
