I'm sure the game plan will be no different this week.
With Guler and Lawrie starting it will be very simple.

The game plan won't change, however the game plan is not necessarily the problem it's the errors, the dumb decision making, the execution.
We get field position, we create opportunities then someone stuffs it up. when did Val forget how to pass a f#*@ing ball.

This is why I think Flano is not changing anything, he backs the game plan but feels they are not executing.

Obviously Kyle being a playmaker and his son is an big issue, the other being Gutho is on big money he was brought in to lead the team at the back and the coach will keep backing him to perform based on his experience even if he's not in form.

We just need better players in these key positions.
Looks like 2026 is going to be no different to 2025.
Totally agree.
Round 1 our spine failed to get us set for a field goal, and toasted by the ref.
Round 2, Cook kicks out on the full and it all goes pear shaped from there.
Round 3 it’s the amount of dropped ball, all by Gutho, Val and the experienced guys, plus the stupidity of not hammering the left when they were down to 12.
For professional footballers we make really brain dead decisions.
Hopefully we put it together this week and gain some confidence. If we do, we win by 12.
If we don’t it’s time to shuffle the deck chairs.

Are they the sideways mob or the 5 tackles and bomb mob? Probably a bit of both for good measure. Absolute trash, Flanno and son out
The attack has been woeful since Flanagan arrived at the joint, that's Flanno Ball for you.
It wasn't so long ago @Crush was trying to tell me the attack was noticably better under Flanagan, that we averaged 20 points a game, how amazing it was.
I'm sure my old Nemesis is lapping it up with us managing to score no tries in the second half against the team coming last in to the match tonight 😂

A balanced summation is that regardless of our coach we need the ‘cattle’ om
n the park. Shane Flanagan I believe tried to recruit top class players and I noted them in a recent post but to mostly no avail as for what ever reason top players don’t want to come to the dragons.

Really the last best recruitment was 2018 when Ben Hunt James Graham, Nene McDonald were added to Matt Dufty at his best, Tariq Simms in top form and champions 5/8 Gareth Widdop ( left out other fab players also.). But for the two season ending injuries to Tariq n Gareth in the thrashing of broncos first semi we win the comp imo.

Note Ben Hunt was a quick half back. Nene big with high end speed. With no one of note coming our roster has weakened in the 3 seasons of Shane F. I believe Shane keeping on with Kyle was a big mistake. Kyle is a tough player who can tackle but not a play maker.

With no one coming we have bought fringe first graders and past prime good class players ie Gutherson, Val Homes. I fear for this Drinkwater overs imo a $750k tops player approaching 30 years old.

Hope Willie Talau gets the team and we see Reed, TP Harris, etc given a shot.
