The real danger is Daley backing Mal's opinion of Lindsay Smith and picking him for NSW. Please don't...these two would be absolute gold during the rep season.

As bad as Moses was. He runs hard and rips in. Perfect for 20-25 mins split up by 1/2 time

What Henry does work well for a starter

Wouldn't argue but don't see Ivan doing it.

Now that I'm not riding the game day adrenalin I'm reasonably happy with the effort but leota has a bad habit of not taking regular season games seriously (or whatever it is that happens with him) but is a beast in finals. Even Kenny was really inconsistent with his passes causing errors.

Based on Ivan's comments of two 5/8s this week I'd say either Schneider or Tolou will play vs bunnies.

Alamoti must stay wing. Jenkins impressed in a few areas and would edge out Casey for centre IMO. Though Casey is better at centre than wing. So either way should be fine.

But if Laurie is out. No way Jenkins at fullback again. He looked lost so many times defensively. And his positioning was awful

do you drop Mclean for Jenkins Casey got better as the game went on, but cant help but feel Jenkins outplayed Mclean overall.

would rather we stick with Cole & Talagi as halves again, but if Laurie is out then Talagi has to play 1, im not against Jenkins playing 1, but its not his regular position. Toelau plays 7 if Talagi moves to FB.

14 role - Sommerton to relieve Kenny, cant help but feel there would be a bit of Xfactor with Sommerton potentially feeding Laurie, Cole & Talagi

Can't see Ivan wildly changing his decisions. Jenkins is ahead of Talagi as 3rd string fullback and Schneider is ahead of Toelau as 2nd string halfback. Alamoti definitely needs to stay on that right wing and To'o help out the young left edge. Madness to drop McLean, he has a huge ceiling, we need to leave him in his best position, he had some great moments last night and some average ones. If we are patient he could be a huge difference maker at the pointy end of the season. I love Henry's fire and Leota has been average for a year now but I think leaving Henry to cook on the bench while he's still raw would be for the best for him. If he can do that for 2-3 months maybe you flip them and definitely that would be my plan next year. Agree with others, we need to get Papali'i more minutes.
