Too angry to say anything really, Poor attitude from players. Not using shoulders in tackles. Lack of application to the job at hand.

At the moment this season is looking like a shit show.
You can’t keep losing quality players like we have been forced to endure and not expect it to bite us on the bum eventually.

Our two most influential players out I’m not surprised by what happened tonight.

It was painful to watch but we need a reality check, the expectations from some have been unrealistic.
The season is far from over, but we need our spine back. That is obvious. No Nathan, no Dylan no top four and perhaps no top 8. That’s the reality.
Don’t be to depressed.

No one in the side is an actual rookie, There is no excuse for the simple errors.

Big Dick Brad still getting no respect!
Really nice work for his try vs admittedly shocking defense. Some good passes too, but a few hitting players ankles and his kicking was weak. Overall I'd give his half a 6.5/10 which is 3 points higher than I'd have expected from him.

That’s not the point though, our mistakes were unnecessary and self inflicted.

The reality is this squad is arguably the least of any of over squads this past five seasons and when you are missing two key players then you may struggle and we have been exposed.

Im not in the coach f**ked up with his selections brigade but I think tonight just wasn’t the night for the Toulau experiment. I don’t get the hate for Brad Schneider I thought he should have the 7 albeit he would not have made any difference in the first 40 so horrendous we were.

On a night of few positives I thought maybe Smith, Jenkins, To’o were decent. Yeo perhaps, Henry sort off but we weren’t good.

Just dropping in for some counselling.

There’s obviously stuff going on at the club to be beaten by a understrength and underpowered South’s outfit.

Ivan’s lost the change room?
We just weren’t good enough.

Souths got fatigued when the possession turned in our favour off the back of there short turn around.

They deserved there win.

Yeah, there was some recovery at the end, and you had some marquee out, but where was the energy?

On paper you should have still won comfortably.

Anyway, it’s a matter of where you go from here I guess.

Something is amiss with normal smuggy programming. Next man up isn’t the nightmare for the opposing side it used to be.

Very strange, and losing players, well you’ve coped with that for 5 years.

Too well to be a fluke, so I think some decisions of last year need revisiting.

Brains trust stress.

But it’s probably better for Ivan to have to coach factory into Marquee. He’s usually got young guns stepping right in.

On paper means nothing.

I take nothing away from the Bunnies, there first 40 minutes was perfection even allowing for the fact we helped them enormously with our error rate.

They tired in the second period , maybe had the Leota try been awarded we could have made it more of a contest but Ashley sent it as a no try and the bunker were never going to overturn it from that point.

Look at Laurie for example he is 70 games into his career. 3 of his errors led to tries

Compare the experience of Gray

Laurie isn't the only reason we lost but just 1 example of the personnel not being the issue

Bunnies were really good props to them. I don’t think we lacked energy or intent, we were still belting them in defence and running hard all night. We just lacked discipline and our defence on our line is in all sorts. Errors/penalties and not being able to defend them just mean our dominance in the ruck and contact is meaningless.

I’m not overly worried. Edwards is pivotal to our defensive structure. He and Cleary getting a run of games is crucial.

I’m liking the way Smith is warming up, liked the energy and aggression from Papali’i in the middle. Martin has been our clear standout this season. Alamoti also looking good on the wing and I think Cole is showing some good signs. The pieces are there, Ivan just needs to figure out how they fit.

That's part of the problem because even quite average teams are giving their absolute best effort against us as we are the 4-time defending premiers, but we are clearly the worst equipped to handle those kinds of ambushes that we ever have been due to our declining strength in depth and quality in key positions. We need to find a way to start fast and get into the lead instead of being ambushed and out enthused. It is as if we are playing to the level of the opponent or what we think their level is and we keep paying for this complacency.

Yeo and Kenny had clanger forward passes too.

Something wasn't right. Way too many players went well under the bar set last week.

Gray is superb.

But they will probably screw their season by throwing Lats back in as soon as he gets back.

Laurie is not a proper first grade player atm and needs a spell.

Even Nate hasn’t been at his best this year. I wouldn’t normally sing his praises, but you sure could’ve done with Dylan out there.

He’s normally rock solid.

Best post tonight.

The blitzkreig starts are a distant memory.

After watching ivans presser im convinced we arent dead and burried.

I cant see us turning it round in the next few weeks..

Its going to be a process.

What is clear.

God we miss dyl. A fit dyl..

He is just so intergral to our defence. All the tago hate. Man when we actually numbered up ok he owned wighton.

Issue is that right side just gets caught short of numbers badly waaaay to often. Tonight was evident. Tago was covering two ppl all night and him and trent and Paul just weren't im sync to cope.

Ivan imo needs to take a few risks

If we are fully fit id have

Edwards
Alamonti
Tago
Casey
Too
Talagi
Nath
Henry
Kenny
Smith
Garner
Martin
Yeo

Cole
Sorenson (prop)
Papali
Leota/patea
