Happy with the changes. Ayshford is One if my favourites but I think for him to really appreciate hIs spot he should've been dropped all together, not only him but any player who's out of form or become complacent .

We have enough depth for the backs to genuinely fight for their spot. Wish I could say the same in the front row.

WTF? Why has Miller been canned again? Smells all too familiar with a heap of guys trying half and nobody filling the roll!!

f**k. Either Ayshford starts or he doesn't play. Don't have him on the bench.

Either Meaney starts or he doesn't play, he's not a utility player.

When is he going to pick a half & stick with it? Miller wasn't great but he wasn't worse than Moltzen. Give the kid another shot, humble on the bench.

Moors to start ahead of Bell.

This isn't an improvement. Its shuffled deck chairs.

Disgraceful!

Miller is injured, but the bench sucks big time,Souths have 4 very good forwards on their bench,we should at least have 3 forwards on ours.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly :D

For me, the Good
- dropping Groat from starting 13,
- dropping Ayshford from the starting 13,
- moving Humble to 7
The Bad
- having Ayshford on the bench when surely a game or 2 in the NSW Cup would be the best thing for him?
- having Ayshford on bench along side another centre which surely indicates that Sheens is looking for yet another back rower :(
- retaining Moltzen when clearly he just seems as out of form as Ayshford,
- retaining Fulton at 9, when IMO, we'd be best served with him in the back row as a defensive only player,
- retaining Blair in starting 13, IMO he could have moved to the bench and we started with Fulton in back row,
The Ugly
- how the Tigers react when 1 guy is out - Farah
- how the Tigers react when a 2nd guy is out - Miller (this week)

Fulton was one of the few who gave a shit Monday night. Summed up by his kick from halfway that pulled up in goal, he led the chase and only needed one other bloke to complete the tackle and we might have got back into the game.......only for no other player to be within 20 metres. He's a limited footballer and hooker isn't his best position but I'd rather him on the field than not based on the efforts of some of our other forwards. And honestly, he went no worse than Farah went in rounds 1-3 - and that kick I mentioned is something that I've rarely seen any of our hookers or halves do consistently over the past 3 years. Funny that before the game Sheens mentioned last tackle options and strong kick-chase were key, only for both to be sorely lacking.

Ayshford demoted is a positive. I like that backline, there's some points in there. Reddy gets a chance to prove his worth in his ideal position. A stronger defensive effort from our centres is needed. Bench looks thin but I suspect a change or two prior to kickoff.

And Bug, you deadset only turn up when we've lost 2 or 3 on the trot. f**k off.

I would disagree about Fultons service. It was terrible. Constantly giving it to outside backs for the first 3 and 4 tackles of a set even when forwards and the halves were calling it

.

This moment stood out for me as well. It was absolutely painful. Great kick by Fulton, a colossal effort to get there and hold up Robinson, and his mates are nowhere to be seen. It was perhaps the most disappointing moment of the night for me. To have one player performing so whole heartedly, but with no support from his colleagues.

100% i remember saying to the wife, if only one of the other lazy, uninterested blokes chased that kick with Fulton we would of got ourselves a repeat set..... we scored every other time we got in their twenty, who's to say we wouldn't of grabbed one there and made it a one possession game.

I was filthy at them for that.

All good exept no hooker and backs on the bench. Also a big lol @ our 3rd halfback in 5 games.

I rate the South's pack at least the equal to the Raiders. The South's backs are better still. A statistic that worried me greatly against the Raiders was after only 48 minutes they had chalk up 1000 metres against us. Geezus, with that type of role on South's backs will have a field day.
And yeah, when they invariably shut down when leading by 20 after only 60 minutes we will probably score some consolation tries and the coach Sheens will say things were closer than they really were.

We are in trouble big time....

3 things stood out for me regarding Fulton.

1. The kick and chase,
2. Lack of support,
3. His service from dummy half

gronkathon, you said

what I noticed was the amount of times he put his hands up that looked to me, like he was saying, who wants it?

Was that young Miller not calling? Was that Moltzen sniffing around and confusing them? was that Marshall not taking control as a captain and telling Moltzen to go back to fullback and Miller to call shots on particular side of ruck? who knows, but Fulton looked lost at dummy half but I could not fault his effort and IMO that's why he deserves to retain his spot in the backrow in front of Blair.

We looked sharper when Humble came on and I satted on another thread that maybe he would be a better option at 9 but that was before I realised that Miller was out injured this weekend.

Old Time Tiger I thought Fulton has a good game considering he is only a fill in hooker. His service might have been a little sluggish but one of many problems with tigers is lack of organisation. This was verified by Fulton putting hands up, indicating little talk and indecisive action. You would have imagined that drills would be functioning automatically, especially in the forwards where everything emanates from. Hopefully forwards get the drift before another season and fans have expired.

I can understand Fulton playing hooker to start the game due to his defensive work, but surely after 15-20 minutes he has to make way for someone who will provide better service. He was throwing even the most basic one out passes at the heads of the receivers, who often had to jump up to catch the ball, giving the defensive line precious time to get off their line and shut the player down immediately.

Going on Monday nights effort we are no chance of beating Souths, unless things turn around. We lacked direction, mongrel in the forwards and pace out wide, throw in a lack of commitment, discipline, variety and a will to win, one most likely can expect another defeat.Really what other club play without a recognised halfback and hooker and still expect to win each week.

Souths coming off a loss will be pumped, I expect a very solid win for the rabbits with our bench again having the impact of a flea
