No excuses for that loss either. Not a lack of effort but a lack of IQ or ability to make the right decisions under pressure. Injuries haven't been too kind but the errors by Smith, Eisenhuth, Tago etc are unforgivable.

Every team lifts for us and gives us something close to their best to have to overcome and we are not rising to challenge anymore due to all the dumb low IQ footballers costing us games and the injuries mean these nuffies don't get dropped.

While not an excuse for tonight's loss, I still think the decision to rebuild Penrith while we have/had a winning team was stupid because we now have no home advantage at Parramatta. It is an awful, plastic stadium with no heart. I have never felt any excitement while going to it the few times I have.

Congrats to Yeo on the 250 love him. Season is over though and yes I can be angry. Not good enough is still not good enough.

Why be angry?*

I came to terms with two straight with 20 minutes to go in the 2023 GF.

Can lose every game this season and still be able to troll every footy fan you know since you've four in a role in the NRL era.

*I'm drunk as f**k

I blame myself since I bought a jersey for the first time since 2005. We also derped it up then.

No but we have a lot of improvement in us. We are making very very silly errors and mistakes that can be ironed out.

The time for 'improvement' was after that disgusting effort against the Roosters.

Something is very 'off' at the Panthers at the moment and it appears that Ivan doesn't have the answers.

I think going forward the spine should be 1. Edwards 6. Talagi 7.Cleary 9.Cole I would turn cole into a number 9 .He is a good defender can kick and is faster with a better pass than kenny.Call me silly but that would be a dangerous spine

The run of premierships was always going to come to an end at some point. I just hoped it was going to be a slow decline and not Wile E Cyote running off a cliff after roadrunner, which it seems to be right now.

I think we are in a really hard place right now.

On the one hand the lack of the consistency in the side is hurting us, on the other hand there are definitely some players that are well below par and probably deserving of being dropped. It's a fine line to tread.

As shit as we are playing though we aren't losing by much, if we clean up the erros and dumb penalties we can still win more than we lose this year. Unfortunately that isn't something I see happening quickly given what we've delivered over the last month.

I don't see us defending our premiership this year. I do see us still making the 8 and building to have a massive go at another premiership next year.
