No such thing as cruising. If you don’t turn up with anything less than 100% intent then you leave yourself open to a potential loss. I’m sure that will be Ivan’s message.

There's definitely different percentages of fired up. We aren't going into this 100% intensity like it's a gf, going into every game like that you have no gas left in the tank for when it matters. There's degrees between 100% balls to the walls intensity and not trying. You don't have to be one extreme or the other.

Is Charlie nervous catching torps? I read him as skill level being one of biggest assets and never saw any trouble with them compared to other wingers.

He has had a few bad games under the high ball, but not enough to get concerned about. He has taken a few outstanding catches at the back as well. I'd say its a confidence thing. Catch the first one and the rest will fall into place

That would be a game plan and Bulldogs don't do that.

Even if they do. I'll back Charlie to take it comfortably with zero pressure and it would allow May and Edwards to take the next 2 hitups off a quick play the ball from Staines. By tackle 3 we're over half way against a retreating defensive line.

The ruck speed in our games in particular have been horrible.

Penalties are like 3/1 over 6 agains. If something is a penalty inside the 40m line then it should be a 6 again in the rest of the field

Granted a few of the high shots are attacking the line but surely someone is off side, or laying in the ruck but refs are restarting the set
