If it is actually good then won't get much change.
The ruck speed in our games in particular have been horrible.

Penalties are like 3/1 over 6 agains. If something is a penalty inside the 40m line then it should be a 6 again in the rest of the field

6 again was always meant to be in the attacking half. Last year then went too far. Happy with it so far myself. Don't need 100 tries a game to be fun.

So why aren't refs calling them?

Us and Newcastle. Not a single 6 again. 14 penalties. You are telling me that neither side was offside defending their line?

Nothing was better footy then our low scoring finals. The Storm game will take some beating as the best ever finals game. It was proof that the new rules aren't to blame for blow outs.

So I don't want blow outs but I want to see sides back 10m. Having to scramble because the other side is on a roll

Refs not calling them on the try line is an officiating problem not a rule problem. Having the 6 again in your own half is ridiculously one sided in favour of the defence.

Which is what is going to get fixed and the product will be much better as a result

It’s about time in the tackle count; we know that refs are likely to call infringements early in the tackle count (generally when you are within the 40) but hesitant after plays 4/5…

They do seem to come earlier in sets. I am all for calling them regardless. Teams will either get flogged or stop giving them away

Easy win - Making Burto regret his decision even more than he already does.
I am sure that Burton took the money as he is young and he wants to plan his future. I'm confident that if we offered him a start in the halves with similar money, Dogs wouldn't have got a look in.

Exactly. He made the right call and this year or 2 will make him an even better player

We only have to prepare and apply ourselves the same way we have been doing all season. But it has to be mentioned that we do have to put a score on them after the Storm and Parra have caught up (after their hidings yesterday) to our points difference.

He has had a few bad games under the high ball, but not enough to get concerned about. He has taken a few outstanding catches at the back as well. I'd say its a confidence thing. Catch the first one and the rest will fall into place
I think the thing was those in the in between bombs where it lands very near the chasers where you have to be very brave to leap forward and take them that was his issue. Hasn't had any trouble with torps or floaters that I've seen. Taking those skill level catches more naturally then others is one of his strengths.

The dogs play a smothering style of footy and drag team into a arm wrestle.thats what happened last time.
They don’t like teams that spread the ball .that is a strength of our team.play our style we win
