Pretty gutted!! Gee I have losing!!

The ref didn't cost us anything today and the effort / defence is there. Obviously there are some errors and decision making costing us at times but overall in my opinion it's our attack that really cost us today. Yes letting in two tries was crap in the last 5 but gee we should have been will in front by then.

I would be tempted to swap semi / Gutherson. Why couldn't semi play on the left? He agent getting chances with Jennings and there was two chances Gutherson bombed today that Semi would have scored from last year.

We are going wide to early rather then playing up the middle more. Really think we should be using Paulo / gowers / Moeroa ball skills more up the middle - will help make our attack not so predictable

Norman stuffed up a few times with our sweeping playing, a few times the pass went to no one.

Foran's kick on the fourth with 2 to go was stupid!!! Expect more from a million dollar half.

Let's not forget half our starting top 13 pack is out (peats / mannah / Watmough is out)

We had 6 missed tackles at half time yet finished with 33 for the game.

How many line breaks have we made this year ?

Who has provided more at centre hoppa or Jennings ?

i think Jennings has, but with very limited opportunities.
I don't think anyone can really make that call yet due to that

NRL Stats has the only Eels players that didn't miss a tackle as Gordon, Taka and Gower.

That's pretty pathetic across the park imo, and we need to do better so that we can keep the on field momentum in order to build a foundation for better attack.

We have a guy that it doesn't matter who you ask, what team they support will rave about him. All the experts etc.
But for some reason our game plan seems to be basically go the opposite side to him... It's a very strange game plan

The left and the right both have to be as strong as possible.
Practise, practise, practise, tweaking, tweaking, tweaking.
Be patient.
Getting both sides strong as the other during this season will pay huge winning dividends as this season unfolds towards the semi's.

You need to know how to use players.... This is why Jens not looking good. WHat do you expect him to do getting ball in traffic.He likes space and broken play.

Foran = Not terrible but not great. he has not been in our top 3 players once this year IMO.And being on 1.2 should be every week. Like Thurston is.

Definitely not saying hoppa is the better player, Jennings is so far in front it's not funny. But gee at the moment we aren't giving him the opportunities he needs so he is just left to rucking it out which hoppa is so good as.

And knowing Arthur, I reckon he will be analysing videos until recovery tomorrow morning, working out our how the fix the matter.

Play SuperMorgs outside Jennings, and put Semi outside Taka agin - just to mix it up a bit. Gutherson can come back in for Morgan the next week?

Thurston has been playing @ the cowgirls since 2005 or so.

Cowboys finally won a GF last season and you are already expecting Foran to pull of weekly miracles within his first 5 rounds at the club, particularly while he's overcoming a massive hammy issue. LOLLLL

The $1.2mil covers a whole season and not just the first 5 rounds.

Let's see what eventuates late this season and over the whole of next season too.
Then we'll know what fruits were actually realised from the $1.2 and $2.4mil Foran investment.

I know what you mean!
Even Gordon is doing a lot more of those rucking runs then I've seen him do in seasons past.

You need to use your full back in attack to create space...... We have not been using Gordon like Robo

Hoppa aren't playing any better then he was at the eels. He looks better as he is in a better side then what the eels were last year.

I hope so.
Because the balls that were going out the back last night that experts have been so critical about, I saw a few of today.
It's not pretty at the moment, I hope things change quickly though.

Totally agree and was what I was going to write. Taka and Semi has to reunite. Gutha offers nothing and for mine, slow. I still think Buretta is better.

We didn't play up the middle and we should've. We started to with Gower and Wicks poking thru but then we kept on going wide. THe we'll have a better attack mantra before the game, screwed the mentality of going up the middle.

Seriously, we will miss Junior next year.

well he decided to start catching the ball at fullback this year.....we tried that last year, unfortunately he had worse hands than a fish.....

His hands were fine last year. He just misjudged a couple of swirling bombs and that's all merkins could remember.

How many errors do you think he made per game at fullback? The stats are on the internet. We can look them up.

bullcrap he dropped heaps. Why do you think BA dumped him from fullback? THere were many non-swirling bombs he dropped.
