I think all our attacking issues come down to one simple thing - passing. It has been terrible. Too many passes are going to ground, players are having to reach forward or back and it kills all momentum. Norman has been the worst offender, so have Peats and Foran at times. I think we need to focus on that and we will be okay.
For everyone bagging Foran, if you watched him play at Manly, he is really not doing a lot different. He is very good at going to the line and creating something but he is not getting a lot of help. It will come with time. I reckon within the next few games, something is going to click and we are going to put on a cricket score.
Lastly, IDG needs to be a our starting hooker. Peats to Wenty unfortunately. Until Peats develops the running game of IDG he is not adding anything to our attack. I don't think there is much between them in defence either. Isaac has been defended brilliantly last few games.
I think we had an off day yesterday. Our season is still on track.
Is this the same IDG that has run for a total of 64m in three games? Since when did an average of 21m a game mean you have a good running game?
