That's a big plus in our favour. I'm not disappointed one little bit. Hopefully our forwards will be bouyed by their misfortune and take this opportunity to rip in and lay the platform. Another win here would really be setting us up well, because as others have said we are gunna suffer some losses so it makes these winnable games so crucial, especially when other top teams are going win, loss, win, loss,

Souths are one of our bogey teams. Despite not have Surgess they can still worry us, particularly out wide. I’d expect they will try and move the ball around to avoid having to go through us(they’d struggle without Sam to do that) and also tire our forwards out. A night game, good home crowd and with form on our side I reckon a win by 12-16 with a few nervous moments as a bit of a reality check along the way.

That's a very specific yet reasonable prediction.

Who knows what you are going to get. What's important is that we continue to stay confident, even if we get behind, show belief, and simply not let other teams dictate how the game will be played. The margin is of no consequence to me. The near enough 80 minute performances we have been witnessing for the first time in ages have been so pleasing. There will be losses but so long as the smarts are there I am happy and I think there will be overall success.

I have expressed my concerns about choosing a rookie fullback with a number of issues to be addressed in his game even though he has obvious potential. Up until last week I was not particularly impressed with his play but, last week I thought was his best game by a mile and showed glimpses of what he may be able to produce ongoing.

I still believe he has a number of areas to work on but was really happy to see him not crowding his outside players as much and when he did was willing to switch with the winger. I would like to see him trailing the forwards more and in defence would like to see him moving across field a little bit further out from the try line and closer to the ball.

If he keeps improving the gamble will payoff and I couldn't be happier. However, I still don't like the fact we invested heavily in our halves and hooker and then risked success by using an unproven in first grade fullback. My gripe isn't with Dufty or his potential, its with what I consider to have been an unprofessional decision.

This game against souths and how he handles Inglis, Johnston and Gagai etc will be a good test and show how he is progessing.
No different to spending huge dollars on a monster forward pack and long term 6. 7 and 9 and gambling it all with a to-date failure of a coach...

I think we will beat them by 18 plus.

Sam Burgess found guilty. Will miss this Friday's match.
What a g
I hope so but I’ll settle for another 80 minute performance that brings us the win.

Edit: mickeylane has just boldly predicted we will smash the point scoring record set by Parramatta in 2001 where they averaged 32 points per game. Expect us to win this in Golden point by 1 now.
13 - 12!!

Sims will hopefully make Sutton his bitch, Friz will hopefully school Critchton and the rest is history.

Forget Gagai, Inglis and Johnston and young Jennings, we have Nighty on his 250th and Nene not to mention The Duft.

Cook has some speed but McInnes will recommend a good dentist by full time.

Hope their Hunt doesn’t think our banners are for him.

George aint Sam, and PV, JG, Moo have their pack covered with some JDB on top.

Our Hunt and Widdop will have a field day.

Drag Queen and Gentlemen, I have a decision and I’m going to the board......Dragons by 30.

Second half I haven’t really considered yet.
Dragons 30+ note it down... Too much will amongst our squad - the fact punters are saying we will drop off again after round 10 or so has the team vigilant and totally focused.. Don't be surprised if we are 8-0 after 2 months...

Please have confidence in our attack - you underestimate the creative genius of WIDDOP amd Hunt. Hunt was off last week and was still causing havoc - WIDDOP didn't receive one point in the MOM awards yet was responsible for 3 tries and Hunt 1.. We are a very hot team and SOUTHS are inconsistent and without Burgess...plus SOUTHS are the 2nd most penalised team in the NRL which only means more ball for us

I hope you get to watch this whilst enjoying a lovely lunch by the ocean on your Greek adventure. After the win you can celebrate with a well deserved Ouzo!!
I hope Simsopolos and Frizopolos go greek on the bunnies. JackDBelinos will tear them a new one and I wouldn’t be surprised if Duftypoulos got in on the action.

I couldn’t be happier for the club & fans. I think our start represents the confidence the club had in the purchase of Hunt, Graham & the selection of Dufty to help transform the team.
I will not boldly declare anything other than we are building nicely. It’s Rd4 FFS. I admire your enthusiasm & love for the club(the same love & enthusiasm I have but don’t need to shout from the rooftops about it)but I just won’t buy into the histrionics associated with a media hell bent on bringing us down as soon as building us up.

I think the whole team has played majestically.
