  1. We were lucky to hang on despite poor refereeing.
  2. Coach's1st half strategy and bench usage very dumb and saw us start to run out of steam and we didn't have enough gas to execute properly in the 2nd half.
  3. Not sure what LL's role in the team is but whatever he is doing if under instruction is a very dumb way to utilise him and he still has issues in defending.
  4. Hunt is going well but has a mistake or 2 in him which can prove costly.
  5. Graham starting to get too much ball in attack and tucking it under his wing which is very dumb.
  6. The section of Latimore mystifying.
  7. Power game starting to increase in % of use in attack very dumb.
  8. The usage of Mann was absolutely mystifying
  9. Nene's improvement is monumental and he was the difference tonight.
  10. Not sure how many short turn arounds we have during the season but I sincerely hope that the game tonight issues a stern warning to the coaching staff.

You're pretty much spot on on all points there... But sometimes I wonder whether you wait for games like this just put the boot in OT. You've been quiet on the praise but quick to criticise.

To be fair, up until that last 9 minutes, the boy's defence was monumental. THAT was the difference.

Phew, heart attack material that game. Hopefully Host isn’t far off. Leilua isn’t cutting it in defence, can not afford to carry lazy defenders late in the game.

Hopefully we see Sele and Host on the bench next

Spot on. The 5 day turnaround shouldn’t be underestimated added to the fact it was quite warm vs. the Knights.
The effort was there all game & it’s unrealistic to expect a 10 game winning streak. We’re the benchmark & other teams will be gunning for us. This game last year, we lose. We won tonight & that’s all we can ask for.

As already said by other members - it is great to walk away with the 2 competition points , as in seasons gone by we would not had been able to fight back . Also most disappointed with Luc , he really needs to get his act together and perhaps approach the game in a more mature manner . Take the bull by the horns and understand that a position in the first grade side means that you must compete at 100% .

But back to the good - what a tackle by the old boy Nightingale ! Yes his experience alone is what is so vital in these close matches and his determination in doing his best saved a couple of tries , saved our bacon .

Overall the Dragons did not play as well as in previous matches, but then again we finally came up against a team who fought all the way to the bitter end ( for them , poor sods ) .
Now we will need to improve upon this performance and that is what we must do on a weekly basis - improve and get those valuable 2 points so as the Big Red V continues as the competition leader .

If you don’t want to play a very promising young fullback when you’ve got an otherwise strong spine, when else would you suggest playing him?

Can't believe we get a short turnaround again next week. Sharks played 2 hrs before us tonight.. short straw again.

But we'll touch them up regardless.
